Hi, gettng to this WAY late but oh well, better late than never! I say go for it and enjoy yourselves! I was also wondering when you were cruising 2004 or 2005? You're more than welcome to eat/hang out with me and my family. I have a brother who will be 10 when we finally get to go and you guys can "borrow" him for an hour, day, the whole cruise.......LOL!

I say go and have a great time. I haven't cruised before- so I can't really speak for most everyone on a cruise or from past experiences myself or anything like that- but let's put it this way... from your description of you and your partner.. you sound like people we would enjoy spending dinner with if our family was placed at the same table as yours.... and this coming from a Christian family...... enough said (all the hate the sin- love the sinner thing.... we're raising our children tolerant of other's beliefs, practices, etc. and what your sexual preference is -is NONE of our business at any time... much less the dinner table or enjoying any other amenities of the cruise). We don't expect you to concern yourself with what we do in the bedroom... so we won't concern ourselves with what you do. You're just people... like us... and you sound like fun people. :)

I agree with everyone; go and have an EXCELLENT time. And if you end up on the Magical New Year's Eve cruise (12/28) let us know. We have two groups of 4 traveling together and would be happy to add 2 others to our party for dinner!

ENJOY

We actually can't afford to take the time off for a Disney cruise this year :( Joe and I have so much going on with high school reunions and weddings.

BUT, I'm working on Joe and hopepfully we'll be going in '05, perhaps in the Fall. And rest assured, I'm going to repost this post so ALL of you will know when!!!

Ok, so just stop all the defensive stuff and get your deposit in for crying out loud! :p

You can always change your sailing dates, withdraw all together, and a myriad of other things. The important thing is to simply stop all the dreaming and get to the action! If you set a cruise date and get your room (via setting a deposit), then you can get on the Cruise Meets board and set-up some DIS tablemates. No worries! Just tell Joe you are going to put down the deposit, and can get it back if you need it. It isn't lost money, just held in a "special" savings account :D (I wonder if that schtick will work on my fiance when I ask to book the next cruise while onboard :smooth: ).

Anyway, I think most of us get the idea that you and Joe would be wonderful tablemates and things would just be so....Disney. Set the dad-gum cruise date and lets get this show on the ocean! :teeth:

We're going doing the land and sea starting Aug 25 so I guess we'd be getting on the ship on the 28th for the 4 night cruise. Let us know!

Oops, guess I should've put the year, we're going Aug '05......

Well said BibbidyBobbidyBoo!!! We need to be dispensers of GRACE not judgement. Amen!

I'd say go for it. Of course, there is a chance that you will meet someone who has issues with you, but I am sure you are used to meeting those people everywhere.

I mean, I'd be honest, I wouldn't want to see you and your So making out in the middle of the ship, but I wouldn't want to see ANYONE doing that, regardless of their sexual preference. :)

Go, have fun! Take me with you. :)
