your first time?

I'm so excited!!! I leave monday morning for my first ever trip to WDW!!!! I started packing about 2 weeks ago...lol.

How excited were you on your first trip to wdw?

You have got to be SO excited... How long will you be there? I'll always remember our first trip as being so special. We had so much fun and yes, I couldn't sleep the night before either.

My first trip to Disney was back in March of 1987. Mom and dad took me, my sister, and neice. It was fun, but NOTHING compared to the first time I went with DH!
Everytime I go with DH is like the first time. I just wish 2004 would go away and 2005 hurry up and get here! I'm ready for May of 2006. That's when DH and I are going to renew our vows here on the beach and then "honeymoon" once again in Disney. :happy1:

I was ecstatic, Bambii, our first, and to date, only, family trip. I have been back ten or eleven times since, but our family trip will always be special to me. You can see a few pictures from it in my spinner clipart, first link. Someday, I hope to return there with my DW, someday. I was excited--well it was the second half of my honeymoon-no pre-planning except for my hubby buying the tickets.

We just booked my second trip/his third trip this week for next month for 4 nights at Pop Century. So, it will be my first on-site hotel stay.

Have fun and give details about Pop when you come back!

We are gonna be there for 5 days, leaving early the 19th and coming home the 24th. I don't know what i'm going to do untill i have to leave for the airport. If i thought 1 month was a long wait, 1 day will seem forever!!!!!

Dan, that is so sad that you're wife has never taken another trip to wdw with you. I don't know if I would do it by myself. Having family with me is one of the things that makes wdw special.

I was excited because I was a lil girl and it was my first big family vacation.

The second time was before DS. I was glad to go but hadn't seen epcot or MGM or AK so I didn't really know what to expect.

Now the thirds time was my first time with my DS and I couldn't sleep I was so excited. I was just so over whelmed with being able to share the magic with my DS.

I haven't even gone, and am already looking forward to my next trip, with my mom, dad, and fiancee. yay!

I have friends that are leaving on the 26th(for 18 nights-a trip of a life time, they have been saving for 2 1/2 years!) She told me tonight that she can't sleep now from the excitement! I can't wait to work with her this week....she'll be useless!

I remember my first time.....it was magical!

I really wasn't all that excited for my First trip. I thought that WDW was a kids only place and there wouldn't be much to do for adults. Wow, was I wrong.

Now, even after 14 trips, I get more excited each time!

one_cat, some day she will return, she has told me so. While there, even though my IRL family is not with me, I sure am not at a loss for company, LOL. Actually, some of the solo moments there are cherished, LOL. Maybe next year.

I don't think I was excited at all. I was only 7 and had no idea where we were going.

But I sure did like it once I got there. Haven't stopped going since.

I dreaded our first WDW trip because I thought it would be a big let down from DL. Now I know better

The first time was in 1980 - before any of the expansion. But I still got the bug big time. I was only 12 though, so I couldn't exactly go back on my own.

The "second first time" was my DW and I in 1998. By then the bug had lost some of its zing (it had been a long time) and we just sort of picked it by default because we couldn't agree on another location.

As soon as we walked in to the Magic Kingdom the day we arrived, I was totally under the Disney spell. Every trip since has been great in its own way, but I can't help but feel like I've been trying to recreate that 1998 trip every time we go.

I can't say I was excited the first time I went, because I was only 2 years old and I don't think I knew exactly what WDW was when I got on the plane to go there. I know I was happy as soon as I got there, as you can tell by the smiles on my face in pictures and videos.

I am beyond excited for my upcoming trip (this is probably my 12th trip or so) in TWO WEEKS! I can't believe it! I am mondo excited too. It always seems like it gets better and better every year.

The first year i went, i was 13. Was excited, but think its more exciting after you've been there and experienced it all.

I don't remember too much, but I'm sure I was excited! I know now that whenever we go I am so excited!!

My first time was in 1979 (spring break) and have been going ever since. Have a wonderful trip and remember once you have been there most people are hooked for life.
