Your first time - how old were you?

We went Christmastime 1996, when I was just over a year old.

i was eight and it was 1977 magic kingdom only and you bought tickets and different tickets were for different kinds of rides.
I remember my great uncle bob who lived have the year in florida and had been many times gave my parents a shoe box full of tickets that he saved form each trip to disney and had tickets left over he would put in this box.

I was 13 in 1977. We stayed at one of the HoJo's in Orlando because my mother got a good deal from Liberty Travel. We wanted to stay at one of the Lake Buena Vista hotels, but it did not happen. I remember going over the hotel brochures trying to pick out the best one. We stayed at the Contemporary in 1980 but we had to make reservations almost two years in advance.

Took my sons there when they were 4 moths and 2 years old-- and have returned at least once a year with them.

It was October, 1971. I was about 2 and a half months old. The park had been open for about a week.

Me 40, DH 39 and DS 5. First time for us all and the experience was less than 2 weeks ago.

We are already planning another trip and will be taking my parents as they have wanted to go and never have gotten the chance. We are going to surprise them on their annivesary with an all expense paid trip. They sooo deserve it!

I want to say that it was 1980 and I was 6. I can't say that I remember much. We only went for one day. I do remember Space Mountain.

Let's see. We went to Disneyland the summer of 65 so I would have been 7. It was your classic summer vacation. Two week road trip from LA to L.A. I have a few memories of Disneyland, not sure about any family pictures. I need to ask my mom. I didn't go to WDW 2005 so I was 47 - DS was 9 and DD was 8. Numerous trips later I am a WDW junkie.

My parents took me in 1990. I was 24, married, and 4 months pregnant with my first dd. They wouldn't take me when I was a little kid.

It was 1988 and I was 26! My best friend and I squealed and jumped up and down like a couple of 5 year olds when we saw Main Street and the castle for the first time. 24 years and several trips later, I'm still that excited to go to Disney World! We're going again in September and it's the first time the two of us have been there together in over a decade. We're counting down the days and positively giddy with excitement!

1977 and I was 15. We went for my sister's high school graduation. We have a literal convoy of vehicles going from Pennsylvania - two of my aunts, a couple of cousins, two sets of family friends. That was 35 years ago but I still remember the details so well. How my dad marveled at Fort Wilderness (and we had been camping my entire life), how we went to Magic Kingdom that first day with the warning that we would only visit and be back at the campsite for dinner. We didn't get back until 2:00 AM! The swan that visited us every day at our site. Even singing "Looks Like We Made It" over the CB radio (it WAS 1977 after all) when we pulled into Fort Wilderness.

I've been to Disney World so many times and some details have faded but none, absolutely none, have left my mind from that first trip.

1996 I was 33, I cried when we pulled up to Dixie Landings cause I felt like I had finally made it since we tried to get there many times before. I also cried when I left looking back at the castle thinking I would never get back but I'm on 11 times and counting:lmao:

I was 41 in 2005; my Dad had no interest in taking me to WDW.
(wasnt about to deny my kids, or myself)

Now I'm addicted, I just love it.

I kind of choked up the first time I walked down main street USA, it was a long time coming.

We Just got back from our 5th trip, still magical.
