One of my students has brought in a kind of cookie made in a waffle cookie maker- they melt in your mouth. She hurt her heel and hasn't come to class for a while, so I don't know if I'll be getting them this year.

Another favorite are lemon meltaways. and there is another bar cookie only in mint- mint meltaways maybe?

Russian teacakes is my favorite of those I make.

I love Snickerdoodles, but the family favorite has to be the mint cookies we make. They are a chocolate type cookie and when they come out you put an Andes mint on them and let it melt and then smear it around like frosting. They are the yummiest!!!

I like almost ANY kind of cookie. But our family favorites are chocolate teddy bears, and watermelon cookies (basically a sugar cookie, red tinted dough, with tiny choc. chips for 'seeds' and green sprinkles on the edge, so they look like watermelons. I have to have something to remind me of summer in winter!!
