Your favorite souvenir?

My heart is LEAPING with excitiment... I really cannot wait to go so I work on my pin collection - which I just started (I only have 2!) and we're all getting ears when we first get there so we can wear them the whole time! Eeeeeek.... If I wasn't at work right now I'd jump up and do a little dance!!:cheer2:

At least one new bag
At least one new sweatshirt
At least one new pair of ears
At least one new Christmas ornament
At least one new ink pen
At least one new tee-shirt
At least one...

I think I have a problem... No wonder my suitcase is never big enough when I come home!

Last few times I've been to DLR my dgf would always get a few pins. Mostly just of her favorite characters Minnie and stitch.

She loves them too. What's funny is that she doesn't wear contact lens or glasses around so if we see a CM with a lanyard she makes me go up to the CM to kinda scout out the pins he/she has all the while I'm making some stupid excuse to talk to the CM and checking out their lanyard.

Pressed pennies are a must!!

Sweatshirts. I can't get enough of those either.

DD has to have ears, pens and Pins. and some sort of stuffy.

I watched a lady trade a pin to a cast member that I wanted so I traded for it... It was a Daisy pin that was part of a set that I didn't want to buy. LOL! So I traded him... Other than that I mostly don't trade because if I bought it, I must have really wanted it.

Pennies are so much fun... especially when they put new ones out... :)

We made the necklaces where you can choose the beads and put our names on them. Last time we made a Minnie and a Nemo one. I'm making some as gifts too this year.

Where in DL can I find this area? Sounds like something my girls and I would love!!

TIA,
Erika

I LOVE my Mickey keychain (from WDW, not DL) that's also a little red light (not a good description, sorry), but one of the ears fell off after YEARS of use and we haven't been able to find another to replace it so I still have it on my keychain with just one ear. :(

I also love our Mickey ornaments, but our poor Christmas tree fell this year so I'll have to get some replacements while we're there. :)

I love buying a new shirt when I go, so I can wear it around the parks during my visit. My mom likes to find a magnet that has the year on it, so she can cover her fridge in Disney trips. My fiance looks for clothing and hats because he knows I like it when he wears something Disney.

Our tree is starting to look like it's soley Disney theamed, lol.

Our tree IS Disney themed! :cool1: In fact all of our decorations in the lounge/living room are - we do allow the odd 'plain' Santa elsewhere around the house though ;)

I buy too many souvenirs!

They always include:
Antenna balls
Magnet
Key ring
A nice photo frame
t-shirt / sweatshirt

Also re. the necklaces, they have them in the Pooh shop near Splash Mountain too - my daughter bought hers there.

I've never really "collected" anything. I just see it and if I want it I'll buy it, even if it's meant for little kids. :rolleyes1

I must say that I've gotten multiple uses out of every souvenir I've bought, so that justifies the purchase. ;)

I think I might buy a starter pin pack this next trip....I just don't want to think of how it'll end up impacting my wallet.

I'm just over 30 and still a sucker for stuffed animals. I always have to get a new one, large or small. My DH is dreading the next addition to the menagerie.

I always buy a new key chain to use since they get dirty over time. My favorite souvenir has to be my hooded Disneyland sweatshirt since it's so cozy and warm, and whenever I wear it I remember all the good times I had in Disneyland. :goodvibes

I always get pressed pennies. In fact, I have actually ended up with double of some from getting them on different trips.

And a Cinderella Christmas ornament. My whole tree is blue/silver/Cinderella.

Things I can use with some subtly and sophistication. Since I adore looking for hidden Mickeys, I follow that theme. The kinds of things that cause guests to do a double take. Love my mickey ice cube tray and wine stopper (both well made and well priced) and other kitchen "stuff". Also hidden mickey style jewelary...subtle but there.
