Which DW Resort is the absolute most fun of all?
Give me your "MUST STAY" opinion..

There isn't one that is the most fun of all because we all have our favorites. For example my favorite places to stay is the Contemporary and Boardwalk Inn, however maybe I will also add the Beach Club to that list after my 1st time staying there this August.

~ Yacht Club (and Beach Club) are great because of their location, good sized rooms, pool, and ambience

~ Animal Kingdom Lodge is gorgeous and has TONS to do, such as watching all the animals and hanging around the BEAUTIFUL lobby, and it really takes you away from reality. Great resort for any occasion IMO.

~ Port Orleans- French Quarter is great because of all you get for the price. It was recently refurbed so now it has queen-sized beds, it's small so there isn't too much walking, and you can catch a boat over to DTD.

1. Beach Club for Stormalong Bay, proximity to Epcot, DHS and Boardwalk Area

2. Animal Kingdom Lodge for theming, great cast members and excellent restaurants (I will be there on Monday!!!)

3. Old Key West for the HUGE accommodations and boat to DTD

Well I've never stayed here, but CR with a MK view is definitely at the top of my list to do someday. Out of where I've stayed BWI is by far my favorite resort. Rooms are gorgeous, very relaxing atmoshpere, great dining options, proximity to Epcot and DHS, and amazing views from your room if you get a boardwalk view.

I've never stayed there but I would love to stay at the Beach Club.

Have to put POLY on the top of my list. So peaceful, beautiful landscaping, of course-the Monorail but love the boat ride too; Wishes on the beach and those magnificent Pineapple, Macademia Pancakes & Tonga Toast; the pools; walking to TTC ... like a vacation in a vacation! But...after staying at Bay Lake Towers, Bay Lake view last August ... I'd have to say BLT is a really close second! :goodvibes :tink:

Beach Club. :thumbsup2

1) SAB
2) proximity to Epcot & HS
3) atmosphere

Our favorite is the Poly :). We love the Poly for the beautiful grounds, great pool, the beach, and the awesome view of the castle while swimming or relaxing on the beach :cloud9:.

We've stayed at BC, YC, the Poly and the GF.

Listed in order of preference:

1. Without a doubt, BC
2. YC
3. Poly
4. GF

We would gladly stay at another of these four resorts, but BC is definitely our favorite.

This year we are doing 2 nights at the Poly, before moving over to BC for 15 nights! A dream vacation.

Poly for mickeynut1's reason and I would like to add:

Transportation
Ohana
Lobby

WL is a very very close second
Theme
Lobby
Boat to MK
Artist Point: expensive but tasty

I would have to say the GF...so relaxing and the resort itself is beautiful. A close second would be BC. Walking to Epcot was a big plus and the restaurants were great.

I completely agree here, that is my number one choice of where to stay someday too. *sigh*

I am so poor, though. LOL! I think it'll just always be a dream. Single mom, so yeah... dream. But it's a nice dream.

Couldn't have said it better. After staying at BCV this past March, we know that if we add on points it will be there. AKV does have phenomenal theming and I love the escape from it all. OKW not only has huge accommodations, but we love the laid back feel of the resort.:goodvibes

Gosh it's so hard to recommend just one after researching ALL of them. I haven't been to DW but what I've seen so far it's going to be tough to choose.

BUT... here's my favs from what I've seen so far.

CR- The original Disneyworld vacation resort. I really do love it because of the amazing views that come with the rooms. (I myself would book Bay Lake VIew). And I'm sure it's amazing to see that monorail pull right up in the lobby while you're eating breakfast with Mickey and the Gang!

Boardwalk- I really like this resort too. I even like it more than the Grand or the Beach CLub. I don't even know how to explain it. It is small, complex, has a freaky clown pool, crowded at night.... but there is something about it that intrigues me and I think it's all of the above! :cloud9:

Old Key West and the Saratoga Springs- some may think that it's odd to recommend these but if you think about it, it kind of is "going home". I mean just being away from the parks and the loudness for half of your day is probably good. I like the way Old Key West looks and has beautifully matured. I also like the little Mickey Mouse Sandcastle slide. Awwww it's so cute. I like Saratoga Springs because it has that "Wonderful World of Disney" feel to it like all those houses all of the people in the commercial for it live in. Very handsome and home like. But I really like it the most because of it's location to DTD. It seriously sounds like a pain in the butt to get there without a car or being on the river resorts. And I can't wait to shop in DTD!

Port Orleans Riverside Has a good arcade great food court(yes the food court is fun) awsome grounds a fishing hole horse carriage rides and of course Piano Bob which makes Riverside a resort with fun for all.

Polynesian for me. I love all the tropical music playing as you walk around the grounds, the beach with hammocks and the volcano sandy-bottomed pool. And also the Lilo and Stitch 'Ohana' theme that's been added :)

Poly is our all time favorite! DH spend lot so time there as a child so it really has great memories that have spilled over into our family.

Yacht/Beach Club for SAB and proximity to EPCOT and DHS

Boardwalk with a Boardwalk view. Love sitting out on the balcony and just watching.
