I usually don't do breakfast either, unless it's something quick in the parks or at my resort. But I'm trying to try more things! In general, we don't do breakfast at WDW.

Honestly I use to rave about Kona because of the tonga toast. But youre right, the menu isn't really all that exciting. Food is good. But not rave worthy in my opinion. My fave resort breakfast is The Wave. Its a hidden gem. Really good food.I'm curious...why the obsession with Kona? I've noticed lots of people recommending it on here and elsewhere, but the menu doesn't seem that special.
Oh that's super cool if they let you pay ala carte instead of the all inclusive price! I certainly have never heard of Disney cutting any slack like that before. lolI guess it would depend on what you order but the entrees are all individually priced. I think I had the scrambled eggs, coffee and OJ for somewhere around $20.
No, the pricing is a la carte. We typically spend about 50-60% of the cost of the character meal, getting essentially the same food and beverage choices. Is the price still the same? If so it's not worth it for me.
