Your favorite moderate resort?

and why?

... DH and I are going next Oct and are at a toss of between AKL or a moderate, to save some money.

CBR. I just like the Island Theme better than the others.

If you've never stayed at AKL, do it!!! It is our absolute favorite resort. Dh and I could spend a week there and never leave the hotel!! The theming is so unique and well done.

That being said, we spent 8 days at AKL followed by 2 at CSR in May. The 2 days at CSR were an afterthought. EVERYTHING at WDW (and nearby) was booked. When we lucked into a cancellation at CSR, we snapped it up. I really wasn't all that excited about staying at CSR, but we all ended up loving it! We definitely will consider returning in the future. CSR is more like a deluxe resort in reguards to amenities than any of the other moderates. The biggest perk, as far as I'm concerned, is the all-day room service with a variety of options all at reasonable prices. (This was quite a difference from AKL's sky-high prices and more limited choices.) The only things we personally gave up here were enclosed hallways, a balcony, and queen beds. Of the 3, the full-size beds were my biggest concern. Fortunately, the beds are so comfy (pillow-top mattresses) that we fell right asleep. We were on the 1st floor in Building 2 of the Casitas, and our view of the long fountain and quiet pool were GORGEOUS!! If you're going to stay at a moderate, I recommend CSR.

Full size beds (kings size beds are available)

IN THE MIDDLE
The Pepper Market is either a love it or hate it place. We love it but some folks just don't care for it.

Convention resort - some guests don't like seeing other guests at work. Doesn't bother us and helps keep the buses empty. GF, Cont, BW, Y & B Club are also convention resorts.

I like Caribbean Beach. I like the theming and the resort is beautiful.

POFQ. We like because of the size, it smaller than the others. We also enjoy being in the area of DTD.
