Having only done regular Disney Cruises, thinking about doing a holiday or theme cruise next year and I'm honestly open to them all as I enjoy all the themes. I'm wondering which is your favorite due to the extra themed entertainment or unique shows, decor, character opportunities, etc.

Halloween on the High Seas? Very Merrytime? Star Wars? Marvel?

I think the Very MerryTime cruises are wonderful, and I recommend them all the time. I can't think of a better way to get into the holiday spirit!

Star Wars and Marvel Days at Sea are very subjective - if you and/or members of your family are particular fans of one of these franchises, then I think you'll love it. If not, you probably won't find as much value. Keep in mind that while Very MerryTime cruises offer a variety of Christmas-themed activities through the cruise, the SWDAS and MDAS cruises keep the special events designated for one sea day of the cruise. So it's less of a themed sailing and more of a themed day. Very different!

They are all good.
We have never done Star Wars or Marvel but have done 7 day non themed, Christmas and Halloween.
Christmas in my favorite time of the year and the boat decorations are amazing.
They do an arrival of Santa on one night they do other Christmas oriented activity's.

We have done Halloween and once again the job Disney does to decorate the ship is amazing.
They have one night where they do trick or treating. It is neat to see all the people in costume.

We’ve done them all, and Marvel was by far our favorite (and we’re way bigger holiday and Star Wars fans than Marvel fans). Great meet and greets, amazing costumes, and by far the best deck show/fireworks we’ve ever seen. Plus lots of cool little touches like the awesomely themed dinner menus.

This is what's been reported to me about MDAS! We haven't seen any Marvel movies other than Guardians, but I'd love to do a MDAS based on reviews. We would brush up on our Marvel movies ahead of time, of course. :)
