Your Favorite Disney Sounds

On our first trip, we ate Mickey bars every day over by Autotopia (the cars. . . what do they call that ride now ). We heard over and over "Now approaching, Mickey's star traders." I can't wait to hear that again

My favorite sound is actually the silence from my daughter the first time she saw Cinderella! I never knew the world could stand so still. I swear that for a few seconds she actually stopped breathing. Some other favs are the music during the light parade and Mickey telling us goodbye from the train depot at MK. Got to love the pirates and their singing. Last but not least the order to "Drag your wretched bodies to the dead center of the room." in Haunted Mansion!

Oh, wow.. great thread. On one trip, I completely memorized what they say 30 minutes and on before Illuminations. "Because GE brings good things to light, in just TEN minutes, Illuminations, Reflections of Earth will begin. Due to lower lighting levels around the lagoon, please watch your step and take small children by the hand....." etc etc.. Then, on our last trip, as we were waiting for Illuminations, THEY CHANGED IT!!!!! GE must not sponser it anymore!

-I love the Steven Tyler countdown on Rockin Roller Coaster
-I love when you can hear the parade coming in MK. You can hear it on the speakers up the road a bit, and you know its getting closer .. then all of a sudden... its on OUR speaker!!
-The talking parrot out side of Pirates
-"please step into the DEAD center of the room' at Haunted Mansion
-when the bellman in TOT says.. enjooooyyy your staaay... bwahahaha(evil laugh)
-Off Kilter
-The British Invasion
- I also reeeaally love when you exit Haunted Mansion and a CM is hiding and jumps out and yells as you walk past and scares the bejeezes out of me and I scream like an idiot!! HAHAH

I love hearing the sounds at WDW, but I would love to hear some of them right now.

I love the entire musical score for Wishes! Also beauty and the bees in the tree of life at AK and the tree of life theme song. The birds that sing in the splash mountain song during the first part of the ride. The announcement on the TTA when you enter space mountain. Also love the music from philharmagic!

1) The snare drum music while in queue for Buzz

2) The Mad Tea Party tune that plays around that ride

3) Just about anything from TTA spiel

4) Figment's song in JIYIwF

I love all of the above especially the monorail, but I also love one that was not mentioned - the steel drums(Is that what they're called?) outside of POC in Adventureland.

Mickey and friends talking on the elevators at the Contemporary. I missed that staying at the Boardwalk Inn this December and kept expecting to hear Mickey or Goofy telling me if I'm "Going up" and what floor I'm on!!!

I couldn't agree more!! My kids love to hear that and I really feel like I am at Disney when I hear this...not to mention I just love the Tomorrowland Transit Authority!!

I love hearing the music ( I believe it's from "Alice in Wonderland") at the TTC monorail station. Also the laughter from the tea cups.

The Pre-Show for ITTBAB! When Kodak had the (I believe) True Colors song! Cindy Lauper used to sing it. Don't think its that way anymore, atleast its not her voice

I like when you are walking in MGM, and you hear people screaming. You look up to where the sound is coming from, and it is the people on the Tower of Terror. Then the doors close. Then before you know it, the same thing happens with the elevator on the other side.

I also like the sound of the organ in the Haunted Mansion, the fountain before you go into the Tiki Room, and alll the sounds from TTA.

are special to me in WDW, but if I had to pick a few of my favorites:

The spanish "Please stand clear of the doors..." on the monorail, as well as the rest of the monorail tour
The entire corny HM ride dialog
The POTC singing, "Yo Ho, Yo Ho..."
And yes....as soon as I heat "Its a small world after all..." for the 10th time, I have to giggle
The music score as the animated characters appear in the bubbles during Fantasmic!
Use to love the True Colors music from Kodak pre-show (anybody ever find that clip to download?)
The music outside "Its tough to be a bug" in AK in the Tree

I also live for the smells, sights etc in WDW. A few of those favorites is the rush of warm air when leaving the Orlando airport to go to WDW, and watching the sky on the drive from the Orlando airport going towards WDW. Its one of my favorite drives ever! I wish I could experience it every day....
but if I did, would I ever tire of it?

Cast members welcoming you the park, resort, and anywhere else

The sounds of everyone laughing and having a great time
