There's only one author that I know I'd love anything she wrote, and that's JK Rowling. I have no other favorites, really. I read too big a variety.

Yeah!!!! Was getting discouraged reading through the thread and not finding Pat Conroy listed. He can write a devastatingly beautiful sentence, and I like that he sometimes uses words I am unfamiliar with. Stretches my mind.
