Your dumbest injury as an adult?

I opened a cabinet to get something and sneezed at the same time and banged my forehead into the corner of the door lol. It made a knot like a unicorn.

Tripped over a baby gate (for my new puppy). Tore my PCL and fractured my kneecap. My ortho doctor told me that he only sees injuries like this with football players or from a car accident.

First one was we were taking our granddaughter to Disney on ice when I slipped on the disabled ramps in the sidewalk and went sliding on the sidewalk. Ended up with an infection and 2 days off of work. Next time I was taking an water aerobics I had noticed the yellow paint they used on the steps and for the lanes at the bottom on the pool were slippery. One time my foot slipped and fell into the pool. Messed up my shoulder Funny how both places used what seemed to be the same yellow paint. And both times is what I slipped on

Bought too many books on vacation and tore a rotator cuff lugging my carry-on through the airport on an uncomfortably short layover. That one still flares up when I overdo it.

Stepped half on, half off the pavement while lining up a shot and instinctively saved my camera rather than my poor knee, which took the brunt of the fall.

Broke a souvenir hurricane drink glass while washing it and sliced across three knuckles in the process.

Fortunately I don't seem to break easily, but I don't bounce the way I used to and I'm certainly not getting any more graceful with age (not that I was particularly coordinated to start with!).

I had a swollen foot after kicking something in anger. Fortunately no broken bones, but that was a learning experience.

But more recently I was trying to show my kid how to ride a skateboard. Nothing fancy (I can't do any tricks) but my wife insisted on getting kid's safety equipment including wrist guards and pads. But I just wanted to demonstrate going forward and nothing else so I didn't have any protective gear. I somehow had what they call "wheelbite" (wheel hits the board) and the board stopped when I moved forward into a ditch. I didn't have any terribly visible injuries, but my palms felt a bit raw (barely any skin scraped and no blood) and although I had a lot of debris my clothes were intact. But now I get what the wrist guards do. Still hurt even after a week.

The time I separated my shoulder hit my head and scraped my knees tripping over a rise in the sidewalk at my apartment building I supermaned it and found out a few weeks ago the accident actually separated both shoulders the right being worse this was several years ago
