Your Dream Trip?

Not to WDW!

My in-laws left on Monday for a trip they've been planning for several years.

They're in Australia now, and will be there for a month. They are going on an Outback Tour, a Windjammer cruise, all kinds of interesting things. From there they're going to New Zealand for the month of February, renting a motorhome for part of the time, and touring the islands. A trip to Tahiti and Bora Bora, is also part of their itinerary. They won't be back until March.

Sounds like a dream trip to me!

Where would you like to go?

That sounds pretty darned wonderful to me, Kim! Personally, I'd head up to China and wander around Mongolia, Shanghai, Canton ...... that would be wonderful to me. Then I'd head to Bora Bora and Tahiti (gotta get that beach in).

So I'm in the same part of the world....different hemisphere!

There are lots of places I'd like to go, but if I had to choose and had unlimited time and money I'd like to visit all 50 states ..... drive cross country visiting lots of touristy spots and take some time to get a feel for 'everyday life' in different areas of the country as well ........ that's one of my goals to set foot in all 50 states before I'm done ... I'm up to about 30 now .....
Lots of my states left "to do" are in the midwest ....

I would spent some time on the West Coast before heading off the the Hawaiin Islands, visiting all of them of course. Then over to Australia for some time in the Outback.

It would have to be an all inclusive vacation with spa treatments and first class all the way..........yes, that's in my dream vacation!!!

I would put this in two categories:

Dream Trip that will probably never happen but I would do if money were no object: Tour Disney in a month or two. Not just WDW, but Disneyland, Tokoyo Disneyland and DisneySea, as well as EuroDisney (or Disneyland Paris as they now call it). Stay on site at each one, fly first class between cities, and just have a ball. End it all with a relaxing back to back cruise on the Magic so we would see both Eastern and Western routes, have 5 Sea days to relax and spa and visit Castaway Cay twice.

Dream Trip that I hope will happen in 2005 - a cruise to Alaska. I've always wanted to do this and I think it might come true in 2005 (we've got 2003 and 2004 already planned out).

Your in-laws are on my Dream Trip, Kim.

My brother (the single one!) went to Australia and New Zealand a couple of years ago. Stayed for three weeks and had a marvelous time. He also did the motorhome in new Zealand and really enjoyed that!

I would love to go to Europe for about 3 months. I want to see ALL of France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and Austria. Then I would like to see parts of all the other countries.

There's a lot of places I want to go.

My #1 trip would be a trip to the Galapagos
i want to go on a photo safari in Africa
I would also love to go Greece, on an Alaskan Cruise, Australia, and back to Europe

RIght this very moment my dream trip is to spend 3 days and night at a wonderful resort spa..... all alone..... with 2 massages a day, body polishes with a veschy (sp) shower, and a pedicure..... warm sun, cool pool, and a couple of books......

Long term dream trip....... I have several.......

I want to rent a motor home and spend a summer traveling the US........ This is something we will do when the kids get older (10-14)

I also cant wait to take the kids to Europe (DH too) This trip will Happen when the kids are 15-19) Focusing on England, Scotland, Ireland and France.

I would also like to sail around the eastern seaboard.....

And then there is Africa...... a nice laid back safari would be nice.......

Guess I have a lot on my list..... several I know we will do, but the one I want really bad right now (me alone at a spa) wont happen.......

My dream trip would be anywhere but where I am now! At home in the frozen Northeast.

The Australian trip sure does sound like a dream come true.

DH and I (mostly my planning) are heading on our dream vacation in September. We will be spending 15 day in Italy. We will be visiting the Ligurian Coast, Northern and Central Tuscany, Rome and Venice.

I have a few places where I would love to go. The first would be Hawaii...just give me a lounge chair and a nice spot on any beach and I'm close to heaven. I would love to go to Greece too. No real reason why. Well maybe for the food and beautiful country and people. Hopefully one day, my other dream vacation would be to go to Ibiza and just live it up there. Ahhh the thought of vacation...
