-I-OO-H...

When we were looking at houses over here, my husband--who is a native Buckeye--sang this little ditty:
What's round on the end and "Hi" in the middle?
Tell me if you know.
Don't you think that's a cute little riddle
Round on the end and "Hi" in the middle
You can find it on the map if you look high and low.
O-H-I-O That's the riddle!
Round on the end and "Hi" in the middle.
O-HI-O!
My DDs and I laughed and thought he made it up. Then we found out it's an OSU song. Cracked us all up!![]()

Having graduated from the University of Cincinnati, I like the Reds and Bearcats too.
..LOL..HAVE LIVED IN CINCINNNATI SINCE I WAS BORN!!

One of the first movies I saw as a kid was Pete's Dragon. After that my favorite toy for years was a stuffed Elliott (whom I gave a hair cut when I was five and it surprisingly never grew back!) When I had to choose my screen name I had just shown my kids Pete' Dragon and it took me back to being a kid again (in a good way, not in the way I normally act like a child). It is funny that movies like Pete's Dragon , or Escape to Witch Mountain don't get promoted by Disney the way they do some of their other films. I guess it is all about the bottom line.
My kids have grown up with Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Escape to Witch Mountain, etc. We have family movie nights with those type of movies
bump up for newbies
