1) Your camera model

2) Optical zoom

3) Mega pixels

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why?

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera

we are looking for a new camera and would like some reviews.

Thanks

I have a Canon Powershot A640 7.1 mega pixel - but I haven't tested it out at Disney yet. It does have lots of cool functions - is easy to use - and takes good pictures.

If you're looking for a new camera check out the photography board. They are friendly folks and there are lots of threads like this that might help you :)

1) Nikon Coolpix L1

2) 5x

3) 6.2 MP

4) 9: It takes amazing pictures, but is a bit on the complex side and there are a lot of functions that I always forget about that; on the same side there are a lot of functions, like fireworks, sports, landscape, sunset, etc that make it so when you take pics they actually come out (when you remember to use it).

5) Would I buy the same camera, well that's a hard question to answer since they stopped making it, but I love my camera. There was another camera that I really wanted Canon SD600, but it was out of my price range by about $200. I would love that camera, but I love my Nikon.

I would also like to add about my camera is the number of pictures it can take before changing the batteries. I have rechargable AAs from Radio Shack, I can take about 250+ pictures before I have to change the batteries (disposable batteries will take less and lithium batteries will take more).

One thing I would suggest when buying a camera is if you already have a digital camera, try to buy one that uses similar memory cards. That way you don't have to go out and purchase all new memory cards for your camera.

I just did some research on my camera since I didn't know what the MP was on it. They still make it, but it's an upgraded model. Mine is black the new one is silver.

What is;

1) Your camera model: I have a Kodak Easy Share

2) Optical zoom: 4X Optical Zoon

3) Mega pixels:4.0 mega pixel

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why? I would say for me it is an 8, though it is the first digital camera I have owned. Very easy to transfer pictures with the dock, just press a button and the software starts up and the transfer begins.

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera? Probably would buy the same one again!

1. Casio EXS600

2) 3x Optical Zoom

3) 6.0 Mega Pixels

4) 10 - amazing pictures, and movies, and it comes with a charging/uploading dock which makes it really easy to connect to the computer. BTW, i got it at Future Shop (Canada) and it came with a free photo printer (HP). Also, the screen is huge and the camera itself so thin which makes it easy to put in a pocket and take out for quick pictures. Also (last point I swear), it comes in different colors which is always fun to choose.

5) I would definitly buy the same camera again. Its the best!

Here's a link if you would like to see it:

or - go to amazon and search EXS600.

Kodak EasyShare camera
4X Optical zoom (?)
4.0 MegaPixels
I give it a 10

I would buy this one again. My sister has the step-up of this one and she actually does not like it as much as she likes mine. I have never had any problems at all. :thumbsup2

1) Your camera model: Kodak EasyShare CX7430

2) Optical zoom: 3x

3) Mega pixels: 4

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why? 8.5 I've taken some really great pictures with it. I wish it some more scene settings. I really want one that has more settings like fireworks, museum, etc

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera: Yes

1. Canon PowerShot S3 IS
2. no idea
3. 6.0
4. 9 - I've only had the camera a month, so I'm still trying to figure it out, however it takes GREAT pics. It takes wonderful ACTION shots, which is something my Kodak Easyshare CX7525 was lacking.
5. I think so. When we bought this we were also looking at the Canon Eos Rebel XT, and it was suggested that the S3IS was better, and cheaper than the Rebel XT.

So far, I'm enjoying this camera and can't wait to use it in Disney.

1 - Pentax Optio wpi
2 - 3x
3 - 6.0 mp
4 - 9.5 because: it is small enough to fit in your pocket. It is waterproof and can film underwater. It has many settings but is easy to use. It comes with a rechargable battery and charger. We recently took it to WDW and it takes some really nice pictures, also we didn't worry about it getting wet from rain or water rides. I took off 1/2 a point due to not being able to see the screen when it is really bright out, but then my other digital cameras were like that too.
5 - I would definitely buy the same camera again

1) Your camera model: HP Photosmart M425

2) Optical zoom: 3x

3) Mega pixels: 5.0

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why?:9; very easy to use and good results so far

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera: Yes

I normally use a DSLR, but on vacation I use my Kodak Easy Share which is GREAT~

5.0 Megapix

10x optical zoom! I've gotten EXCELLENT photos of the castle from a distance! You would have thought I was right infront of it :)

I would definitely buy it again. The only down side is that it is not that great at fireworks/fantasmic! type night events.

I just bought a Fuji Finepix S5200 about 3 weeks ago. I took it to Disney last week. It took outstanding pictures! It is 5.1 megapixels and 10x optical. I was finally able to get the action and night shots that I wanted. It took great pictures in low light situations. It is slightly smaller than a digital SLR (I didn't want to have to travel with extra lenses.) I took approximately 300+ pictures without changing batteries. I would give it atleast a 9.8. I have a nikon coolpix L1 (6.2 megapixel, 5x optical)and a kodak (5 megapixel and 10x optical)at home and they don't come close to this camera. My husband says I collect cameras like other people collect baseball cards. I think I have finally found the one I want in the Fuji. :thumbsup2

I'm very digital camera-illiterate, DH bought this for me, but I'll read off the info:

1. It's a Fujifilm FinePix A400
2. 3X zoom
3. 4.1(?) megapixels
4. Can't rate it-yet
5. I'd have to say definitely, since this camera was bought to replace an older Fujifilm Finepix A210 which (don't tell DH) fell and broke when I reached into my fanny pack to buy a citrus swirl on a solo trip.

For me, who doesn't do too well with technology, it's great. And I think it produces some pretty nice pictures. The old one certainly did.

1) Your camera model: Kodak Eeasy Share DX6490

2) Optical zoom: 10x

3) Mega pixels: 4.0

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why?:9, Takes great picutres. Only downfalls are size of camera and pictures are blurry when subjects move unless you work at learning how to change the settings to compensate. I love the 10x zoom, but you really have to hold your hand steady at that zoom. But, you can get some great pictures when you are really far away.

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera: Yes

Kodak Easyshare Z700

5X Zoom

4.0 mp

Rating: 10 as a "family vacation" camera, and would choose it again as such, but I wouldn't choose it for professional grade (for which I'd give it a 6, it gets grainy on ultra-closeups).

note: the printer dock collects dust and lint on the heads pretty easily if you don't use it for a couple of months, so I recommend making sure you run off a picture you don't necessarily plan on keeping every month or so just to keep it cleaned off.

What is;

1) Your camera model - Fuji - FinePix

2) Optical zoom - 10x

3) Mega pixels - 5

4) Rate it 1-10 (10 is best) and why? 10, it is the closet to a SLR camera you can get without buying one. It is extreamly easy to use, it is lightweight, uses AA batteries, is easy on battery life and the picture quality is awesome

5) If you could go back, would you buy the same camera - In a heartbeat

we are looking for a new camera and would like some reviews.

Thanks
Stu

1. Model: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7

2. Optical Zoom: 12x

3. Mega Pixel: 6

4. Rate it: 9.5 (it's too big to fit in my pocket, but still very lightweight. This camera was the only reason I took a messenger bag with me to Disney, to hold my camera in the rain)

5. Would you buy it again? Absolutely

I just love my camera. The zoom is fabulous, and it has an anti shake mode, so the closeups are never blurry. It has features I haven't discovered yet, and I love every feature I have discovered.

My only complaint is it's not a tiny camera. I do plan on getting a second camera, to keep in my purse for spur of the moment shots, and for our next trip to Disney, so I can go bagless. But, the trade off is going to be that wonderful zoom, with all of the control of my shutter speed.

I have a Nikon Cool Pix S 10. It has 10x optical zoom and 6 megapixels. The camera is small and lightweight and can fit into my purse. This Nikon takes great pictures and is super easy to use. Absolutely,I'd buy it again.

Could you show us some of your Disney pics taken with this camera. I am torn between a small pocket-sized camera or a larger one that might give me better photos. I would love to find a small one that takes great pics!
