Help! I need parental support. I just saw my DD kiss a boy for the first time, and I feel so weird. She doesn't know I saw it, but I DID!

I'm sure it will get easier, but man, what a shock out of the blue.;)

How did you handle it guys?

My first thought...was how old was she???

My dd is 13 and if I saw her first kiss today...i would just die...seems so young...

Good Luck...:sunny:

Will be 15 in 2 weeks.

Still...I'm sure I kissed at that age...but as a mother...my opinion has changed slightly...LOL:sunny:

Not a parent. No advice.

But I'm pretty sure the first time my parents saw me kiss a boy was at my wedding (can't recall if we kissed for rehearsal or not). :p

It's just so WEIRD. Like the sky falling on your head or something. Just makes you go "whoa!":earseek:

I dated my ex for three years and I"m STILL not sure that my parents have seen us kiss. He even went on vacation with us to the Bahamas for six days and I don't think we kissed on the lips once in front of them, just a respect thing. Then again, my parents could've seen me and not told me, but I didn't like being at my house with my boyfriend.

15 is a perfectly normal age, though I'm sure it was shocking to see for the first time!

I saw DD kiss her BF for the first time in October, she was 14 at the time. It was kind of strange, but also kind of cute. She is dating someone else now, they have been going out for 3 months, but he is VERY shy so I have not seen them kiss yet. DS is 20 and I have never been a witness to him kissing any of his girlfriends!!!puckerup:

Well guys, I had to tell DH about this little incident, just in case it happens again and HE sees it. He can't handle his little girl even talking to boys, I thought witnessing a kiss might kill him.;)

Needless to say, it took him a while to digest the whole thing without having a stroke.:p
