your best strategy to include Universal into your Disney Vacation

I am going to try Universal for one day this year for the first time. We are staying at POR and we are going at the end of our trip but going back to POR because I don't want to carry my luggage everywhere. We will rest at POR or go to the water park on our last day and then take the magic express to airport. I think we might have a lot on our plate but we really wanted to see the Harry Potter World area. So for us it's worth it. We are planning on trying the Uber transportation for the first time.

Our experience...

We had the same question, but for Sea World a few years ago. After thinking long and hard about it, we ended up on doing it the first full day.(the day after arrival) So glad we did.

1) It made the vacation different, right away, from all the others. This helped to set this year apart, upfront.
2) We had the rest of the stay to enjoy Disney in the fullest, not thinking about what Sea World was going to be like.

My sister's family did Universal in the middle of the trip and I think she wishes they had done it first as well.
