I have been wanting/looking in the stores for a brown tweed jacket. ones in the stores go for about $150-250.

got to looking on ebay. put a bid on and won a jacket that had only been worn once. it fits perfectly. cost <$20 INCLUDING shipping.

My DH is a lego fanatic...so I often check out legos there. I got the Sopwith Camel model for him for half price. I was pretty excited about that!

I also saw this little "massage pillows" at a home show. They wanted like $30 each for them. I came home and found them on ebay for $7 each.

I just bought 5 pairs of nice name brand soccer shorts for my son. I paid $17. I've never gotten any huge discount but I shop a lot and get most things about 1/2 price or find things (like soccer shorts)that I couldnt find in my local stores.

I bought my daughter's saxophone for $300....took it too the local music shop to have it examined and it was in perfect condition; almost new. It sold new for nearly $3000. I was very happy and so was my kid.

I also found a set of Disney children's books in Danish. I had them as a kid in English so I was thrilled to get them in Danish since I've been trying hard to learn the language. I also found the first four Harry Potter books in Danish. I found the fifth one but somebody outbid me at the last minute. Ugh! So I'll have to buy the last two HP books when I go to Denmark in January!

Actualy found it before it made it to ebay.
found a kiln that had been put in a garbage pile at the curb. I asked if I could have it and they said "yes it's all garbage" I picked it up for SIL who is kind of crafty. But then she said she realy wanted it but had no room. It was about 3'x3'x3'

ended up ebaying it for $350 US!
