ok t catt this is for you!
our trip to wdw in jan08 was the first trip for my son, Dale(no he was not named after the late nascar driver or the furry little chipmunk) who was then 3 and it had been years since me and my husband had been. i remember going as a kid but there is something magical about seeing the disney magic through the eyes of your kid for the first time. it just brings it full circle. i have a couple to share.
we were at HS one morning and the characters made thier appearance in front of the hat, we saw chip and dale and got in line. my son Dale has a thing for cars so he had one in his hand. when we got to dale, the chpmunk, my son showed him the car and was telling him what color the car was and what kind it was. Dale, the chipmunk took my sons car, got on the ground and started playing with it, they rolled it back and forth. my son got the biggest kick out of that. later when we were in line to see the incredibles, a lady recognized my son as the kid that dale played with his car...she said it was SO cute!!
then we were in epcot and were in the canada area. we saw Keni and koda from brother bear. they played not only with our son, but they were kidding around with my husband. that was fun to see. then koda saw my sons stroller and was acting very curious about it and koda tried to get in it but my son was like no that was his stroller and he could get in it.
we had a great trip. it seemed like if your kid had a toy or something fun in their hand the characters played with it.
...again with the car
donald with dale's mickey phone.
