If you could have your room redecorated, how would you do it?

My parents said I could design my new room the way I want. But I have no idea what to do! I want something funky. Like, all the walls different colors. Or, maybe I could get my name painted on my wall in white on top of a funky color.

I don't want blue, because I have that now, well its like turquoise (sp? sorry!) and it gives me a headache.

I want the walls to match my bedspread.

My walls are purple. It's really just splashes of different colors, no theme.
I have a yellow, blue, pink, and white paintings of disney things on the wall, pink tables, brown bed, red stuff on my walls, it's a mess. All my wood to everything is a different color.

I want to paint it half red and half white. With white flowers coming from the red part and red flowers coming from the white part. My room is too small, I wish I didn't have as much stuff. I'd rathe have like a desk and maybe a small dresser. Simple with really pretty things just for show sitting on it, that way I could hide everything else I have. I think I'm painting it red and white this summer. It's too small to put everything in spaces where you can't see them though, so it won't come out how I like it. I'll have to buy new things since nothing in my room matches red and white.

Well, my room back at home has yellow walls. I did a denim theme with yellow and green flowers. The bedspread is a Ralph Lauren. I had some random posters and such. The furniture is all antique that has been passed down thru the family for many many years.

At school, the walls are like a pale yellow/cream. We have a bunch of pictures on the walls. Our desk is pushed next to the bed.

My room is white and small with an old blue carpet and wooden fixtures.

We're re-doing it this summer. Grey walls with white fixtures and hardwood flooring.

my room is white with hardwood floors and a rainbow throw rug. The rug has pastel green, pink, blue, yellow, and purple in it. My bedspread is a pink fleece blanket and I have lime green sheets. My curtains are pink with hearts on them.

I have a poster of Zac Efron and a sign that says my name and has a softball on it. I also have a bullitan board thingy with a Derek Jeter calender, pics of family/friends, and a 10th anniversary of WDW banner. The banner is pretty cool, my uncle got it for me for my b-day and its just a cool disney collectable.

My stuffed eeyore collection is also on display

I moved into my little sister's room last summer, so right now my walls are creamish with pink, purple, and blue hearts around the top of the walls and down the sides of my closet wall.

I'm pretty positive that I'm getting to redo it this summer, and I want to paint it a blue color that matches my bedspread, this hot pink color that matches my bed spread, and white.
My room's really small, as well.
I have a lot of crap, so I need to find places to put it.
I also really want a desk-that's the only piece of furniture I'm missing.

Purple walls, gray-silver ceiling.

Closet...purple, decorated in Avril and Taylor Swift posters/pictures. "Inspiration" part of the room.

Wall that my bed is against...the "Broadway Wall", adorned with posters from various musicals.

TV...flatscreen, on dresser. Bed faces this wall. Dance shelf ("Power" corner) above dresser.

Light blue walls with yellow trim and yellow doors. My bedspread is blue, and my sheets are striped blue. My headboard, dresser, and nightstand are all light wood. There's really no rhyme or reason to my room, since I have no decorating skills. I would like my room to be a little more mature, neutral colors, with a desk for my homework and laptop.

Right now I have about 10 posters of random stuff, stuffed mickeys hanging on the walls, a cork and dry erase board filled with crap, and my dresser has scarfs, pompoms, and belts hanging from it with different stuff overflowing from the top.

The walls are grey and color washed with a chocolate brown.
My walls have pictures on them, drawings from my friends, and a poster.

I think a yellow would look nice with that bedspread. Furry pillows are funky you should get those!
I don't know how old you are so you might consider yellow kiddish.

My walls are aquamarine, with a purple trim around my door and my closet. I have black and white posters framed around my room of Elvis, and James Dean. I also have a 3 black and white posters, one of Johnny and two of people kissing from like the 1940's. I have an aquamarine bedspread with polka dots, with white furnishings.

two walls are light purple and two walls are dark purple then one wall is all posters and stuff and the opposite wall is completely wallpapered with song lyrics and my ceiling too and all over the rest of the room are some of my favorite movie quotes in french

then my dressers and one bookshelf are lime green and my nightstand is white and my other bookshelf is kind of a salmon color with winnie the pooh quotes written in paint markers all over it

Well, that's the tiki bar with a Christmas tree on it...

How is your room designed?
Um.... well the ceiling is vaulted and really high.... big arched window and suspended ceiling fan. It's decorated in a tropical theme.... I really liked fish, so we have a mural of an underwater scene on one wall. And then we put in a Tiki bar as an entertainment center, and have a bunch of Jimmy Buffet decorations.... framed posters from Margaritaville that illustrate his more popular songs. Our bedding is from PB Teen.... I have turquoise dottie sheets on my bed and my sister has pink dottie sheets on her bed and we have the same striped duvet and then we alternated big pillow colors. Then can't ignore the Disney influence.... Mickeys hanging from the tiki bar and a shelf above the mural with our big stuffed Mickeys and the squishy Donald that looks like he was stung by a bee.

If you could have your room redecorated, how would you do it?
Um... I'd like a yellow room. But yellow wouldn't look good against the lake. The blue is a nice transition. Idk about theming. Happy Disney. My sister will be redecorating our room when I move out. I think she wants it black and pink with zebra print and dots and crazy stuff.... that won't be a good outdoor transition, either.

I'm not posting a picture, because it's a complete mess atm. *ish a pack rat*

But, in summary: It's purple.

2 of my walls are a solid, light purple. Then the other two are the same color, but sponged over with a darker shade of purple. Then I have three shelves on one wall with a bunch of porcelain dolls/other breakable things on it. The shelves are painted purple.

My doors are purple.
My bed is purple.
My pillows are purple.
My drapes are purple.
My candles are purple.
And!
My bulletin board is purple.

I have dark brown desk against the same wall the shelves are on. That has my laptop on it, along with several PSP games, candy (left over from Halloween and Christmas. *ish a slow eater when it comes to sugar* I ration it. Seriously. Because other wise, not only would I get a HORRIBLE STOMACH ACHE OF DOOM, but it'd also end up gone within a week and I'd get sad. )

When you first come through my door, you'll see my computer desk against the wall on the right. Then, on the left from that is my bed and nightstand, against the other wall. Then, at the end of my bed, also against the wall, is my dresser. On the dresser is 1-a jewelry box. 2-pictures from my childhood and 3- my hermit crabs.

On the walls I have a clock above my bed, the shelves that I mentioned earlier, a caricature that was done of my sister and I when we were little, a picture of the Wilderness Lodge, a pic of my family on the Disney Cruise, and pictures of my doggies. ^__^

Then, I have a book shelf the the left of my door (when you walk in). It's a complete mess, but on the bottom shelf there are all my books and then on the top shelf are my Disney Pins, yearbooks, and DVD's. Then on top of that is my TV, PURPLE lava lamp, 2 teddy bears, and Mickey Ears from WDW. ^__^

Then! There are seriously stuffed animals sprinkled everywhere. On my bed, the floor, my closet, my book shelf. Seriously-everywhere you look, there is a stuffed animal.

I don't even know why. I really am too old for them, but they're just so darn cute.

Would you be kind enough to post a picture of the grey walls? I'm going grey this summer, but I'm not totally sold on the shade I want. There's this one I want, but it's sold by the Canadian Benjamin Moore. Bummer.

Bright Blue/Turquoise walls. Not that you can see much of them.

I'm hoping I'll be able to clean it sometime soon, but I've got tons of school work so it doesn't look likely.

My walls are lavender, with white trim going around my whole room.

Actually my whole room is pretty much lavender.
My bed is white with lavender flowers.
My pillows are lavender.
My big fuzzy chair is purple/blue.
My drapes are white.
My carpet is berber.
My bulletin board is purple.
My dresser is white, but has purple candles, gymnastics trophies, and a pink jewelry box on it.
& my night stand is white, but has a lavender picture frame on it, some papers, and my alarm clock.

My room is wayyyy too girly, and I hate it.

I want my room to be more mature looking, instead of it looking like a little girls room.

when you walk into my room my bed is right there. to the right of it is my bookshelf. to the right of that is my desk. on the other wall is my dresser and tv.

when you walk in my drawers are in front of ya and a 3 sections closet on your right
then in the oposite corner is my bed and my bed side table
my carpet is dark red and is ok and matches my wardrobe doors.
ill put sum pics on soon when my room is tidy lol it a sh*t tip!!!!
