What candy did you hate finding in your trick or treat bag when you were a kid? And what candy was your favorite?

I hated getting candy corn. It was the worst. I loved bottle caps and chocolate....oh and pixie sticks.

Bit o honey is one of my favorite now. But I agree, necco wafers are on the trade list.

Dislikes:
Necco wafers are really bad. Who thought of putting flavoring in colored
chalk? I also didn't like licorice or Ju Ju Fruit.

I LOVED Razzles and Sixlets but people rarely gave them out.

My tastes haven't changed much as these are still same lists I have now.

I loathed getting candy corn. Still think it's gross. Also didn't like getting smarties. I thought of a few more - HATED getting sugar daddies and cow tales. bleeeeech

I liked Necco wafers though!

My favorites were sixlets and pixie sticks. And runts. Oh and blow pops. Sixlets by far, far, far were my favorite.

I also liked getting money! some people always gave each kid like a quarter. I don't think I ever used the McD's dollars people gave out myself but I'm sure my parents didn't mind it haha. I also enjoyed bags of cheetos because my parents rarely bought that for us.

Good n Plenty and Mary Janes or Bit O Honey. And all the Tootsie Rolls, fine in moderation, but their cheap and lead to overload. Still love Smarties and Reese's or Snickers are my favorite chocolate bars.

I love candy corn and candy pumpkins. I wanted a candy corn costume but they were pretty lame.

I think I liked getting ALL candy.

I hated those black and orange taffy candies, and didn't get the people who gave out pennies.

I hated Bit O Honey, Butterfingers and those black and orange taffy things, oh and Smarties. I loved getting Snickers and Sweet Tarts and Nerds.I almost forgot I loved getting Blow Pops too. I still get excited when the kids have them in their bag.

UGH! the black and orange things soooo gross! We call them "old lady candy" I actually saw those at the Dollar store the other day and told my kids that was what I was giving out this year...they almost died of embarrasment

I contemplated getting them to give to teenagers without costumes, but fear getting TP'd!

Ha I love Smarties. Love the peanut butter taffy too. When you hit the middle you get a burst of peanut butter (which is weird because I don't like straight up peanut butter).

I don't like tootsie rolls or gummy candies.

Coins are probably from those people that remember when kids kept a lunch room milk carton and collected for unicef.

I did a few times but it was going out of style by the eighties and I doubt kids even know what it is anymore.

I hated getting jawbreakers. I could never enjoy them because I was always scared I would choke on it, they're so big. I'd try holding them and licking them that way but who wants sticky colored fingers?! lol
