If you had 3 WDW tips to give, what would they be?

Mine are:

1. Always wear comfortable broken-in shoes. :thumbsup2

2. Arrive early and you'll get more done. :3dglasses

3. Relax and enjoy yourself, you're on vacation. :upsidedow

What are yours? :)

1. Go during a very slow non-peak period.

2. Don't be a theme-park commando. Take a break during the day-this really helped us at DL.

3. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

1. Make ADRs for dinner/lunch

2. Wear sunscreen

3. Remember you're at 'The Happiest Place on Earth'

1. Don't rush.
2. Don't think you have to do everything
3. Take a deep breath and remember where you are and saviour every moment, taking in every little detail.

On our first trip we didn't do any of these things. We just rushed around trying to do everything. We got home and I thought was that what I had waited all my life to do!!! Well my DH persuaded me to return two years on and I did all of the above and we had a blast. Now I am in love with the place and can't wait to return:lovestruc

1. Have fun
2. Have fun
3. Did I say have fun?

It's a vacation after all. Do what makes it fun and enjoyable for you and your family. :thumbsup2

1. Be at the parks for rope drop each day
2. Take a break mid-day
3. Have a touring plan

:)

1. S-L-O-W D-O-W-N! Take the time to do what you want to do. For me a minimum for all 4 parks is 5 days. Don't be afraid to say hey we need a break and leave before the end of the day or not go a day. Take a break during the day by either having a sit down meal or going back to your room.

2. Stay on site ( an arguable one I am sure) That way if you want to go to your room there is no hassle. I think the added cost is worth the decrease in stress

3. Get ADR's and consider the dining plan

1. Dont cram to much into your day (Dont expect to do/see it all)
2. Get there early.
3. "When you see a bench, enjoy it...It comes with the price of admission."

1. Check out the maps so you have a plan or to refresh your memory before you get to the parks (and learn park etiquette if you're not familiar!)

2. Take your time and relax as needed!

3. Stay on site and fully emerse yourself in the experience and the magic (not saying you can't have it off site too, but IMO on site is just the full thing for me!)

1) Plan, plan, plan.

2) Get to the parks EARLY and take a break at mid day.

3) Don't try to do everything on this trip. Save some stuff for your next trip.

1) Get there early.

2) If you're good with maps, familarize yourself with the lay of the lands before you arrive.

3) Listen to the CMs, and don't be embarrassed to ask one for advice if you have questions. If they offer you unsolicited advice or information, definitely listen.

. . . and also, following the crowd at WDW is often a bad idea that can cost you time.

1. Take full advantage of FastPass and EMH's, especially the morning ones. Be at the park at rope drop.
2. Have a plan for the first hour or so at each park. Know which rides and attractions you want to do first.
3. Afterward, if you see a line with little or no waiting time, if it's something you know you want to do on this trip, get in it now, regardless of where you were on your way to.

Aside from the obvious:

1. Don't spend all your time in the parks.

2. Enjoy a nice leisurely meal once a day.

3. Get to know your resort. They're very nice, relaxing and there for you to enjoy.

Go during a non peak time of year!!!!!

Take a midday break. You dont' have to go back to your hotel. We just liked our ADR's for lunch becuase it gave us a nice break!

Don't rush and try to do everything. You can't do everything and you will just end up upset!

1) Have a plan.
2) Take advantage of FP.
3) Take some time to stop and "smell the roses".

1. Get to each park at opening

2. Make dining reservations

3. Wear comfy shoes

1. Like others have said, don't try to do everything there is to do the first trip. You will only be run ragged by the end--not very magical.

2. Have a plan, do some minor planning even, it will help you enjoy what there is to enjoy along the way.

3. Make ADRs and take a break and enjoy your resort. Makes the rest of the day much, much better.

Did I mention the fast pass dash??
One group gets in line at one ride as I dash with all the tickets to the next ride for the fast pass slips. Even those who aren't riding give up thier tickets for the fast passes for the others.

1) Get the heck out of the Magic Kingdom in the afternoon.

2) Hold your ground when you get a good spot for a parade.

3) Do fastpass, and get your picture taken with every character you see.

Well maybe these aren't my TOP three, but I like them.

These are some great tips I've learned reading this board. :)

1. Use Photopass as much as possible
2. Plan where you want to be for Wishes and get there early
3. After Wishes, take the Resort monorail to the Transportation/Ticket Center
