Your 10 Worst Things and 10 Best Things About WDW

Worst:

1. Lack of Mr. Toad
2. Mission Space
3. New Figment Ride
4. MK food selection
5. Stitch's Escape
6. The evolution of DHS (Most un-Disney-like park of the 4)
7. Blizzard Beach
8. Less character interaction each year (at least from my POV)
9. Universe of Energy ... it's horrible now
10. Breaking down on a ride ... that's never fun. I don't like Spaceship Earth as much as I used to because I was broken down on it for 30 minutes straight. I still like it, just a bit less because of the LONG break down.

Best:

1. Mickey's Philharmagic
2. Wishes
3. Grand Floridian
4. Typhoon Lagoon
5. The food at Epcot (best food park)
6. The Monorail
7. Splash Mountain
8. Extra Magic Hours
9. Relaxing at the pool of the resort with an adult beverage in hand
10. My Honeymoon memories at the GF

WORST:
1. Leaving Disney World
2. Being 16+ hours away from Disney World by car
3. Rude guests
4. Having to hear from family and friends, "You're going to Disney again?"
5. Coronado Springs Resort - worst one I have experienced and I've stayed at almost all of them.
6. EMH morning hours...it makes me have to get up one hour earlier
7. Paying extra money to park hop or have non expiring tickets
8. Bus lines at closing
9. Having to stay at Port Orleans Riverside because we are a family of 5 and it is cheaper than getting 2 value rooms or 1 deluxe room
10. The pure exhaustion I feel when I get home (what vacation??)

BEST:
1. 50's Prime Time Cafe (my fave)
2. Wishes
3. Off Kilter
4. Drinking around the World
5. Typhoon Lagoon
6. Beaches and Cream
7. Grand Floridian and The Poly
8. The Tea Cups ( I could spin around on those all day long)
9. Expedition Everest!!! (My fave roller coaster)
10. The feeling you get when you just walked onto Main Street

Ten worst things

1-the crowds. I cannot deal with large crowds. I have a phobia about strangers being all around me will drive me into a panic attack. We went in Sept for our honeymoon and it was perfect crowd level in 2004. Went last week Oct 2010 and it was far too crowded for my tastes.
2-the heat. Again we go when it is supposed to be cooler. DH cannot take heat outside. Lucky us, record heat wave that week so we were miserable heat wise all week long. Not really Disney's fault.
3-Prices-enough said. We are not rich and that place is expensive. Only able to go because my rich father paid for everything.
4-Line jumpers or rude tourists-did not really encounter too many of these my last trip so that was nice but have in the past
5-hard for people with food allergies and vegetarians to always find what they want to eat-had a real hard time with this last week. I was expecting so much better than what I got.
6-I also miss Food Rocks and Cranium Command and Mr. Toad. We want them back! Also Toontown. Also Alien Encounter was better than Stitch so I have heard. At least AE was scary.
7-That they do the parades at the hottest part of the day! This really bugged me. No way am I sitting out in the hottest part of the day to watch a parade. Nightime parades for me only please
8-the buses. I would not mind the buses if they could make it where you never wait more than 15 minutes period. Staying in a deluxe resort I really think I should not have to wait too long for a bus to come. The worst is right after a show at night. Nightmare.
9-Stroller rental price. I rent those strollers at zoos and other amusement parks all the time because I like them but they are like 10 dollars there for a double. DW charges 3 times that price. Absurd!
10-when people abuse the handicapped policies-we all know it happens.

10 Best things
1- the overall magic and fun of being in DW. Love that feeling!
2-the castle
3-getting all the alcohol of various types in Epcot and even getting drunk. That was fun!
4-The characters
5-The electrical parade on Main Street
6-the fireworks shows
7-being able to stay on property so you can drink or whatever and never have to worry about transportation or driving
8-Tower of Terror
9-Fast pass!! Saved our lives with two kids who would not wait over 15 minutes for a ride without being pissed off
10-character meals-my kids would not be happy waiting in line to see characters so we liked getting the characters all to ourselves and they came to us while we sat down at our table in the AC. Nice.

10 Worst

1. The almost annual raising of Theme Park Tickets and room rates without making any significant additions to the Parks themselves.

2.The way Fantasyland looked on my last trip (10/2-8). With all of the walls, Small World boarded up, top ripped off the Tea Cups and scrims it looked like Cinderella and Snow White moved to the projects.

3. Stitch's Great Escape...They replaced Alien Encounter with something less than mediocre and for what reason?!

4. The fact that the secret is out and there's no longer a "quiet time of year" to go to the World. Add on to this the increase of crowds during MNSSHP; this last trip was our 5th time attending and it was the first time I had to wait 10 minutes in a candy line.

5. The Resort/DVC Boom. It seems like they're building a lot of new Resorts/Villas and imho it only adds to the gridlock with transportation.

6. People who walk up 5 minutes before a parade starts after you waited in your spot for 45 minutes and expect you to make room so all 5 of them can squeeze in on side of you. Or complain because you want to stand up to watch the parade.

7. Tour groups ('nuff said)

8. Parents who force their children to ride Haunted Mansion so everyone gets to listen to a 4 year old wail as opposed to the Ghost Host.

9. The person who steps in front of me at the TSM Fast Pass machine with 30 park tickets for everyone in their 'grand gathering'. This is the same person who can't figure out how to work the machine...

10. Seeing the Walt Disney World sign in my rearview mirror as I drive off Property:sad1:

10 Best

1. The Feeling you get when you first step on to Main Stree U.S.A. and see all the hustle and bustle.

2. The smell of the water on Splash Mountain and POC. I love that musty smell:goodvibes

3. Memories of my first time riding Haunted Mansion and Pirates 30 years ago. As a 5 year old they were both overwhelming to me and I remember sticking my head under my Mom and Dads arms. Good memories.

4. The Ballroom scene in Haunted Mansion. It's amazing that an attraction designed over 30 years ago can still have such a stunning effect.

5. Singing along with "Laughing Place" as I ride through Splash Mountain

6. The new ending to Spaceship Earth. My Mom and I weren't prepared for this the first time we rode after the rehab and we cracked up at our heads on the little bodies.

7. White chocolate macademia nut cookies from Main Street Bakery...oh, and Dole whips too:goodvibes

8. Listening to Off Kilter in World Showcase.

9. Seeing the Walt Disney World sign as I drive onto the property.

10. All the wonderful memories I've made with my family that no one can ever take away from me:goodvibes

10 Worst

1) The Disney website. It's poorly designed, breaks, and seems like a website built in 2002.

2) The monorail when it stops... for 10 minutes... while you're standing in it...as the park is closing...when its 90 degrees outside...and all you can do is stare at the ferry going across the lake.

3) Bad Parenting. Granted, there are many different ways to parent. But placing your hand over your 10 year-old daughter's mouth while she is screeching at the top of her lungs about how she wants to go home while standing on Main Street just as Hallowishes begins, is not good parenting.

4) The price of the Grand Margarita. Yummy. Expensive.

5) The scripted-ness of some of the cast members. I understand that there are standards and that they repeat the same thing over and over, but try to sound like something other than a robot.

6) DHS. In general. Except ToT and RnR. Blech.

7) The pager system for counter service at the resorts. It seems slower than the old way.

8) Mission: Space. Colossal miscalcuation on Disney's part.

9) Taking the "monorail" at MCO from the terminal to the gates. :(

10) People who talk, take flash pictures, and scream uncontrollably (for the "fun" of it) while on Peter Pan, Snow White, Pooh, or any rides for that matter.

Best

1) Splash Mountain. Everything. The smell. The theming. The music. The whole ride.

2) The Land. As someone else pointed out, the A/C, the food, and the 3 attractions makes this my favorite pavillion in FutureWorld.

3) Beaches 'n Cream. Love it. A good excuse to check out the Yacht Club and Beach Club.

4) Grand Floridian Cafe. I swear. My best meal to date at WDW (never been to Signature dining).

5) Expedition Everest. Even without the working Yeti. Just a fun ride.

6) I love the fact that the road signs on property are BEYOND clear. I am always confused when I hear about people getting lost on property.

7) The smell of Main Street. 'Nuff said.

8) The smell of Rome burning.

9) What I always say about WDW to my co-workers is that it is one of the most organized vacation destinations that you could go to. If you don't like sitting around doing nothing on vacation, WDW is one of the best places you can go.

10) Alcohol choices at Epcot. Yummy.

10 Worst

1. The nearly 8 hour drive. Ugggg, can't we just be there already!
2. Finite amount of space + large number of strollers= run over toes and I wear flip flops. Ouch! Hey, I've used a stroller at WDW and I know it can be a pain trying to navigate the crowds. I don't blame the driver. In most cases it is just an issue too many people and not enough space.
3. HISTA and ITTBAB. My imagination is entirely to over active for these attractions.(thankfully the former is gone for now). I still feel those stinking mice at my feet!
4. Ticket pricing structure. With the cost of tickets front loaded in the first four days making weekend trips cost prohibitive. It forces you to stay a week to feel like you're getting a good value for the money. Oh well, if I gotta, I gotta.
5. Lack of a decent eatery at HS.
6. The running of the bulls for TSM.
7. The CMs don't seem to feel empowered to say "no" to non-resort guests at rides during p.m. EMH they way they used to. Somewhere the support and empowerment for these folks to control ride admittance has fallen off. EMH feel less and less like a perk of staying on site. Maybe Disney needs to go back to the wristband thing for EMH.
8. Lack of a cohesive theme at HS. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy spending time there, it just feels more like a mish mosh of ideas compared to the other three parks.
9. Closing of the clubs at Pleasure Island. Okay, one really- 8 Tracks. I loved that place. From what I read, the Adventurer's Club sounds like it was an awesome place.
10. The "See ya real soon!" sign on the way out. WAAAAHHH!!!!:sad1:

Best Things!
I have waayyyyy more than 10, but here's a sampling

1. Doing the Triple Mountain Whammy at the Magic Kingdom
2. Wishes. I cry every time. Pyrotechnically there are better shows, but this one, to me, is the essence of Disney. L.O.V.E. I.T.!!!!
3. Kilimanjaro Safari- Other than the story line, it is never the same thing twice.
4. Innoventions
5. Animation Academy at HS. Beside being a fun thing to do, I love that I have a collection of art work from my DD over the years. The improvement in her Donald Duck is amazing.
6. The Hoop-de-Doo Review! Yee Haw ya'll! Good food, corny jokes and playin' a washboard- you can't ask for a better time!
7. The crackcor....errr... popcorn. The fact that they pipe the smell in the parks..even better!!!!
8. Arriving at the guard shack at the resort for check in and being told "Welcome Home". Whoops.. there go the tears now.
9. All the streetsmostsphere.. Citizens of Hollywood, Citizens of Main Street, PUSH, and on and on. I love scouting these things out. One of these days I'm going to plan a trip where I spend most of my days watching these sorts of things.
10. The "Welcome to Walt Disney World" sign on the way in. YEAAAA! We're here!!!

Ten Worst Things About WDW

7. The Bus Service for the Deluxe resorts. You're paying top dollar, why do Pop Century and Port Orleans: French Quarter do it better?

Definitely have to second this one. I stayed at Contemporary last time, and I couldn't BELIEVE the bus service. We'd stop at Grand Floridian, and then the Polynesian, and then the Wilderness Lodge, and then FINALLY get going to our destination. When you're paying what you pay for those resorts, you should have a bus that goes directly to its destination. Unbelievable. It took us an hour to get anywhere other than MK. This also goes for the Magical Express.

Ten Worst:

In no particular order:

1. The crowds in "off peak" season

2. The strollers - yes - I know - its all about the kids. I've been run over many times by a pushing mom or dad who isn't watching where they are going. Ouchie. The stroller does take up more room than a person. Please be careful.

3. The electric carts. I've seen many many many body-abled people in groups - arriving at WDW and renting the carts and riding in packs, running down the crowds. Is this necessary? If you are tired, sit and rest. But please do not run down the walking guests. Every trip back to WDW it seems more and more people are using these - One morning in Futureland there were more people on carts than walkers. :(

4. Line cutters or one person holding a place in line for their group of 10.

5. The bus system - I do appreciate magical express AND the system from hotel to parks BUT the last few times we have gone, we have waited longer and longer and longer for our bus and when it arrives, often can not get on because there are too many getting on.

6. Loss of Mr Toad's wild ride.

7. Figment ride/attraction -

8. Some old features like the tree house and tom sawyer island. Isn't there a better use for this real estate?

9. Under new management - TIKI - SNORE

10. Bear Jamboree

The BEST:

1. Dole Whip

2. Seeing the castle upon entering the MK

3. Mt Everest

4. Beauty and the Beast at DHS

5. Rock'n Roll'r Coaster

6. Prime Time Cafe (yummy milk shakes and meat loaf!)

7. Tower of Terror

8. HOllywood Studios. I know it needs more there - but I do love the theme, the attractions and the restaurants!

9. Like Toy Story Mania

10. Arriving at the hotel and planning the day at WDW!

10 Worst

10. Crowds! There are no longer slow seasons. You must be prepared to have crowds no matter when you go to WDW. Luckily, I can manage the crowds, but I still do not liek them!
9. Lack of merchandise variety-I do not like how they sell the same merchandise everywhere! I wish I could find more resort merchandise. Everything is princesses and "new" disney. What happened to all those old disney movies we all love?
8. The distance from my home-The fact that I have to jump on a plane and fly for 2 1/2 hours makes me sad!
7. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride-I remember going to Disney as a kid and riding this ride constantly. Then when I went 5 years ago after a 10 year break, I was disappointed to find it was no longer there. It was such a great ride!
6. The lack of good food at DHS-This park has very bad food choices, minus 50s prime time and starring rolls. It is hard to find good food in this park and I would rather leave to eat and come back afterwards.
5. The dash of people at the end of the night-I cannot stand the mad dash of people that all run to the gates and buses when the park closes or after the nighttime shows. You are not going to go anywhere but stand in lines for the busesm you might as well spend some extra time roaming through the stores in taking in the sights before you run out the gates.
4. Mission Space-This is my least favorite ride in all of disney. It makes me nausous just thinking about it.
3. People who cram their strollers in front of you five minutes before a parade-My dbf and I always stake out our spot for the parades at least a half hour before they start. I cannot stand those people who feel they can cram there strollers in front of us five minutes before the parade starts! I do not care that I am an adult! I like the parades just as much as the little kids. I was there first!
2. PRICES! Every year the prices go up, which I can understand with inflation and all that, but seriously now, must we raise the prices on souvenirs also?! I have no problem paying for my vacation because I love disney, but paying for souvenirs is almost just as much as paying for your resort! Our first trip we spent a lot on souvenirs, but now we only buy ourselves a few things, a christmas ornament and a salt and pepper shaker. We do not need anything else, not with the prices now a days.
1. The last day of our vacation-It is the worse thing ever! You realize that you have to go back to reality now and back to work. You have to wait a whole nothing year until you can be back "home" in disney again!

10 Best

10. Casey's Corner-I know this is just a hot dog shoppe, but there is something about their hot dogs that I love! It is a tradition for us to eat here every year. I love the feel of the place and it takes you back to a time when your grandparents and great grandparents were kids.
9. Changing from jeans to shorts when you get off the plane-I live in northeastern Ohio. We wear jeans 9 months of the year. I do not go to disney over the summer, so when we arrive on our first day we ar enormally in jeans and sweating by the time we hit baggage claim, so we have to change. That is the first feeling of yes, I am in Florida and yes, I am almost home!
8. Space Mountain, Soarin', Rockin' Roller Coaster, and Expedition Everest-These are my four favorite rides and my must dos in each of the four parks. I do not know what I would do if I could not ride each of these rides once a year!
7. Variety of food in WDW-I love the variety of food in disney. There is something for everyone. I get to eat so many different types of food than I normally do. It is just great!
6. Free Dining-This year will be our first time using free dining and I am excited. We have used the dining plan in the past and I always feel so obligated to finish all of my food because I am paying so much for the DDP. But now with free dining, I do not feel as obligated to finish every last thing because I am not paying for it and plus, it saved me almost $500!
5. Dole Whips-I would like to thank my fellow disers for convincing me to try a dole whip! Now we love them! Thank you!
4. World Showcase-I really enjoy world showcase. There is so much to see and do and you really feel that you are in all those different countries. I could spend all day exploring each country.
3. Wishes-This is my favorite nighttime show in the world and look forward to it every year. Plus, I am getting officially engaged during Wishes this year! It is just such a romantic show.
2. The Walt Disney World sign-When I am on the Magical Express heading towards Disney and the first thing you see is the Walt Disney World sign, you get this sigh of relief because you are almost there.
1. The number one best thing about WDW is the feeling you get when you first walk through the tunnel at Magic Kingdom and see Main St. and at the end there it is the castle. Everytime I get to Magic Kingdom and see that train station and walk through the tunnel and see Main St. in front of me and the castle standing tall at the end of the street, I get goosebumps. I am finally in the most magical, happy, and romantic place on earth. I can escape from the real world and be a kid again. I am getting goosebumps just thinking about it!

Ten Worst
10. The pizza (except maybe Via Napoli, haven't tried it yet)
9. The last scene of Carousel of Progress. Seriously, I could update that thing overnight with items from my own home.
8. The motion simulator rides aka Mission Space, Star Tours. This is lazy imagineering to me. And makes me feel sick. The queues and preshows usually rock, though.
7. Stitch. Not just the ride, but anywhere he pops up annoys me. But the ride is truly terrible.
6. The lines to meet the characters. I know this is out of necessity now and I have no good ideas, but when I was a kid, you could just walk around and bump into them, take a picture and move on. Now, you wait longer to meet Tink than to ride Space Mountain? Well, I don't, because I won't wait. Miss those spontaneous character greetings.
5. Those cheaply made princess costumes that kids wear. I know how uncomfortable and hot those have to be, and I know the kids want to wear them anyway. Even more than the costumes though, those hair extensions from BBB look particularly awful (usually) For the amount that I know these people are spending to get their kid's hair done, they couldn't make the kids real hair look nice?
4. Toy Story Mania- Don't get me wrong, I enjoy riding as much as the next person, but it is a complete FAIL as far as this park goes. Because DHS really has very little for the younger set, everyone, young and old, flocks to this ride which has the capacity of a Fantasyland dark ride. I like the technology too, but what DHS needed was NOT a low capacity ride that appeals to everyone. I think this ride proves how much work DHS actually needs.
3. Bus service at deluxe resorts. I previously thought that all resorts had to deal with the same thing until staying at POFQ recently. We never once went to another resort for pickup and this was October. Last time I stayed at Yacht Club, we stopped at BC, BW, Swan and Dolphin every time. Inexcusable for the amount of money I paid to stay there.
2. Lack of specific merchandise. Hello, Disney! You will make more money. Please sell me a resort specific mug. I will buy one every time I go. Please sell me park and ride specific merchandise. I would buy a t-shirt that says "there's a great big beautiful tomorrow" I only hope the different options that still exist do not die. (like figment stuff, splash mountain t's etc)
1. When people do not research their vacation. You spend at least hundreds, probably thousands to go to WDW, read a little. With a little research, you might take a nap in the middle of the day, making your children better behaved later. You might not take your youngins on Dinosaur, causing tantrums and screaming fits. You might not zip around the World Showcase saying "where are the rides?" Plus, much, much more including knowing when to line up for parades, instead of crowding the people who have been there for an hour, 5 minutes after the parade started etc. (Just in case you hadn't figured it out, I think research could cure a lot of rude/annoying guest issues)

Ten things I love
10. Children and parents can ride together and share the vacation. Recently went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and there was very little my daughter and I could do together. There were kids rides and adult rides and the two did not intersect.
9. The food and dining experience. Eating at the world is always special to me, especially now that I know where the good stuff is. I cannot have an experience like Ohana or food like Jiko at home.
8. The sparkling sidewalks at night at Epcot.
7. Golden Wings. It brings tears to my eyes every time.
6. Actually, all the music. I love how it transports me to wherever Disney wants me to be.
5. The smells. From the scents on Soarin to the water smell on Pirates, there are just some smells that are distinctly Disney and I love them.
4. Cast members who love Disney and want to create magic. Somehow, these people shine.
3. The way that the rides have that special Disney touch. Splash Mountain isn't just a log flume, Everest isn't just a roller coaster. Disney even has rides that other parks would not have because they would be considered "too tame" like Haunted Mansion, but the way Disney does them makes them special and worthy of my time.
2. The resorts. I love the theming and how it extends to the rooms, the food, the pool. I love that I never have to leave Disney behind at the end of each day and stay immersed in an environment totally unlike anywhere else.
1. World Showcase. It is my favorite place on earth and has inspired me to travel the world.

A little extra something I love is that WDW has inspired the Disney fan community where I can meet other people who share my love of the world. When I post, listen to podcasts or surf fan created websites, I am completely accepted in my love of Disney, unlike when I talk to family, friends, strangers who can't understand why I go back so often and smirk to my face when I mention a new trip. I love the friendships I have found (love you Sassy Billy) and that people can have such diverse opinions about Disney BECAUSE we love it so much. We share that.

In no particular order:

BEST:
  • Away from the real world (mostly)
  • It is a great place for all ages
  • from the moment I arrive in Orlando until the moment I leave, Disney takes care of everything. I don't have to worry about getting a car, how to get to and from the airport, etc.
  • There is something for everybody, lots of different options
  • For the most part, all of the employees are great
  • I am an owner ;)
  • The imagery and piped-in scents - nobody creates an attraction like Disney!
  • The value for the vacation
  • Hearing the words "welcome home" :goodvibes

WORST:
  • Free Dining - I even hated it when I took advantage of it.
  • The unhappy, rude people who apparently meant to go on a Carnival Cruise or to Six Flags instead of WDW
  • Disney not enforcing their own rules (dress code, Heeleys, DSA, etc)
  • No variety for the merchandise and everything is the same everywhere.
  • If I am going to pay Deluxe rates for a hotel, I would like to receive some Deluxe transportation service to go with it. They have THE WORST transportation of all resorts.
  • There is so much room for expansion at Animal Kingdom; they really need to do something here.
  • The Disney official website. For a company this large, it is quite pathetic.
  • MY BIG ONE - Disney keeps adding places to stay, but no new places to play. I wish they would quit building resorts and DVC without adding places for more people to play. If it gets to a point where there are not any good times to go, I will sell my DVC very quickly. I have actually hesitated purchasing more for this reason.

OMG, I LOVE that smell too!
We were once trapped on a broken Spaceship Earth for about 20 minutes. We were in the room just before the burnt area. I like the smell too but I don't know if I'd want to smell it for that long! ;)

Top Worst

1) I would like to pay extra and get a guarantee of a connecting room, this business of no guarantees is kind of a pain.
2) Please, please update Country Bears! I loved this when we first went in the '70s.
3) Bring back the original Tiki Birds revue-this one makes no sense
4) Have a certain maximum number of bus passengers/ecvs/strollers for safety. Don't pack 'em in like sardines.
5) More buses when parks close!!!!! How is this rocket science?
6) More monorail resorts.
7) Better parade management, more CM's to enforce rules
8) More benches esp in front of Splash Mountain where the come down the flume. Waiting with a 5 year old who was too afraid to join her parents but who wanted to watch people come down was excruciating. Let us sit!
9) Benches on the riverboat!
10) Bring back the Diamond Horseshoe Review!
11) An extra one for good measure...stupid rude loud guests who think the parks are a) just for "the kids" and/or b) think the parks are just open for them.

Top Best
1) Magical Express bus a brilliant idea
2) Dining plan brilliant idea
3) Value resorts brilliant idea
4) Shows at the World Showcase in EPCOT
5) Extra NIGHT Hours
6) Pirates of the Carribean
7) Haunted Mansion
8) the CM's from different countries in EPCOT
9) Main Street USA
10) AK safari

The 10 Worst (in no particular order)

1. Stitch's Great Escape- Stitch is one of DS favorite characters and he doesn't even like this ride.
2. The Enchanted Tiki Room-
3. Bus service at park closing-I think Disney does a really good job with transportation in general, but park closing time stinks. Everyone is all racing to get to the buses first only to stand there and wait. And it always seems like every resort but your own has a ton of buses available.
4. Sore feet! Love, love, love, Disney, but hate, hate, hate that my feet are on fire every night while I'm there!
5. Alot of the food is the same throughout the parks. Can we have a little more variety?
6. I'd also love to see more specifid merchandising. Resorts, attractions, park, events.
7. The cost to go. While I think overall Disney is a great value because of all the things you can do, it does add up quickly.
8. DH will say No Mountain Dew and I say searching for machines that stock Mello Yello-the Coke alternative to Mountain Dew
9. Seeing others not enjoying the magic. This is WDW people! ENJOY!
10. Leaving. Oh how I hate to leave....

The 10 Best
1. Festival of the Lion King. Love this show!
2. Soarin-awesome!
3. Haunted Mansion
4. Wishes. No matter where I see it from, I always love it. Although seeing it from O'Hana's while having dessert with a perfect view was pretty awesome!
5. The variety of foods. Even though I had food listed as one of the worst, it's also one of my favorites. I always look forward to Mickey Bars, Tonga Toast, the chocolate peanut butter cake from Sci-Fi, mushroom risotto from Le Cellier, school bread, Earl of Sandwich....there's all kinds of great food at WDW!
6. World Showcase-I love to be able to get a taste of what it's like to be in all the different countries.
7.The various entertainment all over the place-Off Kilter, Taiko drummers, Jammitors to name a few.
8.Walking down Main Street for the first time on each trip and seeing the castle.
9. Hearing "Welcome home."
10. Planning my next trip!

Hope someone from Disney reads this thread and passes it along to upper management.

worst

10. the lack of peter pan merchandise in the parks

9. not enough to do at disney's hollywood studios

8. the ticket prices

7. lack of resort specific and ride specific merchandise. i really would have liked a pop century magnet, as we collect those

6. the ridiculous prices for MNSSHP. we decided on a whim to spend our last night at disney in the magic kingdom and didn't know about the party in advance. we were so disappointed when we were ushered out of the park one hour later. would have bought tickets for the party if the prices weren't so crazy

5. the closing of toontown

4. that stupid hat at DHS

3. the lack of a true "off-season"

2. animal kingdom. i know many will disagree but aside from the safari did not enjoy it. my favorite part was actually dinoland. i "got it" and appreciate what disney was going for with it

1. the buses turning off the lights at night. makes me feel like a child being told "lights out" by my mother

best

10. that feeling of seeing the castle for the first time. doesn't matter how many times i go to disney, i will always get emotional

9. peter pan's flight

8. dole whips

7. splash mountain. i don't know what it is about that ride, but i love it. the "how do you do" song makes me smile so much

6. the theming of disney's hollywood studios

5. walt disney's carousel of progress. it makes me feel as if i'm visiting an old friend

4. arriving at pop century and seeing all the bright and colorful themeing

3. coming back to the hotel room after a long, fun day at the parks and even though our feet hurt and we're exhausted we're still grinning ear-to-ear and saying "today was awesome!"

2. downtown disney

1. watching tink fly over the castle - i got chills
