I think you mean Amber. I believe he was an actor there to 'scare' Cane so I think that was money she paid him for his services.

She's laying down a plan I guess to get him to marry her before he finds out how rich he's going to be 'if' he is indeed Phillip.

I am so glad I will be home on Monday and get to watch! I am so sick of the murder and the reliquary; hopefully next week will finish them both.

OK, I just finished watching today's episode on tape while DS takes his nap.

I am even more convinced that Jana is the one responsible for the murder and now the relaquery crap. She was asking way too many questions of Colleen. Plus her attack on the guy was either horrible acting on her part or meant to look like horrible acting. I loved how the guy took her as soon as she said she knew the code!

I am starting to think that Adrian isn't a serial killer and is seriously worried about her.

I am confused about why she hopped into Kev's car at the end...

Loved the teaser about Nick and Sharon talking about their wedding- I was just thinking about that last week. I am heartsick that they split that marriage up. Nick and Sharon got married right after I got engaged to DH. In fact, she and I were pregnant at the same time with the baby that she misscarried a few years back. On yet another side note, have you noticed that Noah is about the only kid on the show who they haven't "aged"? Still, my favorite "age fast-forward" was sending Nick to Swiss boarding school in April at age 7 or so and bringing him back that fall around 18 or so!!!! Also, a few years back they almost insinuated that he was holder than Victoria!(back when Heather Thom had the role)

OK, re: Dru and her hallucinations, I am getting really sick of this story line too. If they send her into a mental institution I hope they throw away the key on her character!

The envelope to the agent (or the guy pretending to be one) was money since Amber hired him to scare Cain. I knew she wanted to marry him, but I thought it was to be nice so he could help find his mom. Per my previous post I feel like an idiot for not putting the money connection together!! But I never really watched B&B to know about her character.

And what is Victor's big plan for Jack?

Amber is being written as an awful monster. She was there when the psychic told Kay and Jill about Phillip; she knows how upset they are. But, still, she persists in hiding Jill's son from Kay and Jill. I hope the writers come up with a good one for Jill and Kay to reciprocate the meanness.

I think its typical Amber. She was just as sneaky on B&B. She wants her claws in him before Kay and Jill find out, even though that is so wrong.

She's sleezy but its fun to watch!

I never watched B & B and had stopped watching any soaps until last fall (got Soapnet, HOORAY!). I love Kay and Jill and I just hope they will point their considerable venom towards Amber. I just cannot imagine how any mother could live thru not know where her child was. That was just so cruel of Amber (and all for money). I just want her to get hers!.

Oh, I thought you knew her history. Yes, its horrible what she's doing and I do hope she gets hers even though I enjoy watching it all unfold.

i have to admit, most of the time I Fast Forward through most of Y&R these days. I too, am tired of the reliquary, the Sheila thing, the Carmen's murder thing, and all that lame stuff that drags on and on. So I'll be reading here more often to find out if there is anything good happening that i need to be aware of!!

DH always laughs and says he has only watched 60 minutes total for a whole year, but yet he always knows whats going on since it takes so long to tie up a story line!! And yet, a couple of weeks ago I got behind in my tapes and missed 4 episodes and that's when Sheila escaped etc.

I read in SOD today that they did not renew Victoria Rowell(sp) (Dru) contract. I am tired of the whole inscription thing too. Let it finally be over!!!

Amber wasn't evil, just trashy and an opportunist. She was hired by Brooke to babysit Rick and Bridgette, then they aged Rick and she started dating him. Her mother talked her into switching babies when hers died so she could hang onto Rick. She really did love him and the baby. Then later, she dated Ridge's son Thomas (way too young), and had to face that fallout. She is just the girl from the wrong side of the tracks who uses everything she's got to move herself up. So this thing with Cane is very much within character for her.
