SHEILA SHOCKER: IT'S PHYLLIS!

On Monday, Oct. 23, viewers will learn that Sheila stole Phyllis' identity when she underwent plastic surgery earlier this year.

"You see Phyllis, who's supposed to be Sheila, dead on this slab," previews Michelle Stafford, who plays the real Phyllis.

The viewers will see the dead body in a photograph that Paul shows Lauren and Michael to assure them that Sheila can never harm them again. Lauren is relieved, because she was convinced that Sheila would return and take her baby.

Why did Sheila choose to look like Phyllis? "That is a question more for Sheila than for me," deflects EP/HW Lynn Marie Latham.

Is Lauren's archenemy really dead?, "Sheila is a phoenix that rises from the ashes." hints the exec. "That's part of the core of this character. It would be very difficult for the audience not to expect her return


this makes sense if you remember Phyllis could never get preganet again....

There's no way the real Phyllis is dead. If the switch has been made already, then my guess is that real Phyllis is kidnapped somewhere.

Maybe she hasn't switched with "real Phyllis" yet. But if she did do the switch already it would have to be when Nick sent her away on vacation, remember that? But I still don't think the switch has occured yet.

And how about Cameron? Who will do it? I think it will someone highly unlikely and not the usual suspects (although Dru or Devon will go on trial for it, IMHO). Like maybe Jana or Mr. Kim!

By the way, I saw Mr. Kim on a commercial for "Nip/Tuck" last night!!

Well. can't figure the Sheila thing out so I'll concentrate on the art stuff. Yes, I've totally thought the art teacher was somehow related to the men Brad killed in the church.

(I was kind of thinking the Sheila doctor might have hard work b/c she was becoming a man too!! That would be one good doctor!)

I also considered the woman ob-gyn that seems to be the only game in town in Genoa City.....deliver the baby then accidentially drop it or something. But, she was out of town so maybe she will do the post partum check up and take the baby then.

Oh so many crazy scenarios we ladies could write. They need to put us on staff.

Yep it is hard to wrap the brain around because it is SO IMPOSSIBLE in real life! Looks, manners, voice, smell, etc are unique to a person! I can get past kids aging 10 yrs overnight, characters returning from the dead 3 or 4 times, but THIS is TOO much!! But I will watch!

If this is true, I wonder when/if it happened. Are both women pregnant, and due the same time with the same sex baby!? Will Kimberlin Brown's voice ever come out of Michelle Staffords' face?? Did Nick (or still possibly Jack ) impregnate Phyllis or Sheila!? Will a baby girl with Sheila's face be born?? Too many questions!

You know it never fails...the story line is either dead or so much going on you can barely follow it all. But I absolutely love Y&R. I have watched for years. I also enjoy reading all of everyones thoughts on the story lines. And especially the spoilers that beattyfamily gives us.

Ah, and is it really Nick's baby or is it the baby of someone Sheila/Phyllis was with before coming to GC?

It seems to me if Sheila is Phyllis the switch would have had to take place before Phyllis and Nick became involved. Don't you think Nick would have noticed... "private" differences? And wouldn't Michael notice the difference since he and Phyllis are best friends? He and Phyllis have been through so much together. As I sit here and watch the Y&R I can't get the idea of this storyline out of my head. And as far as whose baby it is, timing has to be right for Nick to accept it as his. And don't forget Nick and Jack both went through with the paternaty test. You have to think about Lauren too. She knows Sheila the best. Yet she spends time with Phyllis without any problems.
Hopefully this will play out soon!! Oh my goodness...Michael and Lauren are going to name the baby Fenmore Michael Baldwin!!!! What are they thinking?!!! And it looks like Victor is on to Jack!! Finally!!!!

Nick just TOLD everyone the paternity results. We never saw the lab report nor did anyone else. He may have lied.

Phyllis & Nick's Wedding Disaster

Nick and Phyllis get married in the 'spur' of the moment this week on Y&R.

"It's goofy and fun," previews Michelle Stafford, who throws on a cowboy hat instead of a veil as the bride. When the bar owner's barn goes up in flames, "Nick leaves to put out the fire. Then they come back and Nick is all smokey, like a 'real man.'"

The wedding begins. "It's two people who are in love," says Stafford. "They don't care about a big wedding. They just want to be with each other. The vows are sweet."

The ceremony goes off without a hitch (no, Sharon and Jack don't bust in), "and then they go to the Newman jet and make love all night long - while she's pregnant with her big belly," laughs Stafford.

What's next for the happy couple?

"Problems will ensue, won't they? winks Stafford.

Especially if Sheila/Phyllis isn't really dead.
