Jerry Douglas: John demise starts on August 10. What happens first is he gets a minor stroke that gets him out of prison. He goes back to Genoa City in the hospital. Everyone thinks it's great that he'll get [excused from] prison because he's sick. Then a day or so later, he gets a massive stroke and he dies.

LIVES HANG IN THE BALANCE
John's crisis has him on life support, and puts Jack and Gloria on opposite sides once again in a heart-wrenching situation. There is a rumor at Soap Central that the reason why Michael's father left was because he found out he wasn't Michael's father, and that when Michael does find out who his real father is, it will be a shocker. I was thinking John but I doubt it. Who do you all think it could be?

I've been wondering who that dad could be too! I have no idea. I'm sure in a twisted way that ONLY the YatR can come up with, it will be someone we know!!

Well, with what Michael's age is, who else on the show could be his father? Victor? John maybe... who else on the show is that age?
My brain isn't functioning quickly enough right now...I will have to "mull" it over a bit...

How old is Michael supposed to be? That would make it easier. But, soaps are always "fudging" with people's ages on the show (kids will be gone for a few months and show up 10 years older LOL!)

Could it be Tom Fisher all along and only Gloria knew?? Think of the implications as Michael is having his own child and Tom abused him, does the streak run thru Michael?? They could have SL with this for a long time!!

I thought that surely since Victor is visiting Hope that they would show him.
BTW, I was hoping they would get the old Hope back.
This one looks familiar, where have I seen her before?

Maybe. There was a key to a safe deposit box that they were going to investigate after Tom died, but they dropped that story line quicker than they dropped Victor Jr.! Maybe that is what is in the box.

I had some age issues again yesterday with the son of the concentration camp leader. Even is he was an infant after the war, no way that actor was over 60! I guess since they cast the mom as such a youthful 90 year old they had to follow suit with the son of the leader.

When Victor first arrived at Hope's she said that he was away at camp!

I am so glad I got bored with most of the re-runs on TV and hit SoapNet one day to realize that Y&R was now on there.. I caught up on a whole week one weekend and have been recording/watching ever since. It's been a good summer. Funny how you can not watch for a while, and still "catch" up!

I agree about the new Billy someone posted about... I liked Heather Tom's brother... why is his name eluding me now? (Not enough coffee and listening to SUPERCALIFRAGILISTIC...... on hold with Disney Dining could be the problem!
