Clint ignites a bomb to murder Kay and Esther this week when Esther fails to deliver ransom money.

Kay believes that Clint has every intention to murder her and Esther. That's what he intended to do all those years ago, and he would've succeeded if Marge hadn't come to save the day.

Clint's plan is set into motion after he sends Esther away to get cash from Jill. At first, Esther is sent with Roger. She even tries selling her half of the Chancellor Estate to Jill, but Jill isn't buying it -- literally. She doesn't trust Roger at all.

Meanwhile, Amber runs into Clint without realizing who he is. Gina spies her with him and warns Amber that she should stay away from him because he's bad news.

Roger takes Esther back to the motel where he ties her up next to Kay. Desperate, Kay does everything she can to recall memories with Clint so that she can finally convince him that she is who she says she is. Eventually, she summons a memory that throws him for a loop.

Kay recalls a situation with Rex where Clint bought a pair of beautiful diamond earrings for Rex's daughter, Gina. Clint realizes that Marge couldn't possibly have known about that and starts to believe that this woman just may be the real Katherine Chancellor. That's when the terror begins.

Clint hands Esther a ransom letter and tells her to take it to Jill, which she does. Esther pleads with Jill to believe that Katherine is alive, but Jill isn't buying it. Esther says that Clint and Roger have kidnapped Katherine and she will be murdered if Jill doesn't come up with the ransom money. However, Jill still doesn't believe that the woman is Kay. She continues insisting that it's Marge, and Esther is getting nowhere with her.

Back at the motel, Kay tries persuading Annie and Roger to let her go. They don't budge. Esther returns and reveals that she wasn't able to get any ransom money from Jill. That's when Clint turns maniacal.

As if things weren't already bad enough, Kevin and Amber begin snooping around after they (along with Murphy) decipher Katherine's not to get the word "CLINT." Annie convinces them that she hasn't seen Kay and they leave. Later, Kevin goes back because he recalls seeing Kay's coat in the motel room. Desperate, Clint injects him with a sedative and sets it up to look like Kevin has planted a bomb there.

Esther and Kay are tied up and the bomb is ticking away. Esther begins freaking out. She apologizes to Kay, telling her that this is all her fault. Kay says, 'Esther, stop it! You and I have been through things before. We're going to make it!' Kay attempts to slide her chair over to Esther's so that they can claw each other's ropes off.

Kay refuses to give up hope. She knows that she and Esther are in for the fight of their lives, and the story is about to take a very explosive turn...

Finally some excitement!

Chloe and Billy get engaged this week and join forces to keep Cane from gaining sole custody of Delia. Elizabeth Hendrickson discusses the surprising reconciliation.

WEEKLY: When Billy proposes, he tells Chloe he's not in love with her and it won't be a real marriage. Does that ruin the moment?

HENDRICKSON: Of course. At first, Billy's very genuine and sweet. Chloe fully believes him. he shows a side Chloe was really taken with when they met in New York. Then Chloe is overwhelmed when Billy does a complete 180 and says he just wants to be there for the baby. It's a vulnerable moment. Chloe gets really emotional. She feels she's been played for a fool. She tells Billy to forget it. Her walls go back up, and she turns him down.

WEEKLY: Jack visits Chloe and asks her to move into the Abbott mansion with Billy for Delia's sake. How does he pitch it?

HENDRICKSON: Jack convinces Chloe that she should give Billy another chance. He says that Billy will come around eventually. Chloe tells Billy he can't have his cake and eat it, too. Either he chooses her and Delia and does this right, or they don't do it at all. she gives him an ultimatum.

WEEKLY: Billy agrees to move in with Chloe and Delia. But later, when Chloe can't get Delia to sleep and can't find Billy anywhere, she heads up to the penthouse. What happens?

HENDRICKSON: Chloe knows Billy is up to something, because he didn't answer his phone when she called. She's like, "You said you were going to be there, and you didn't show up." Chloe starts packing B illy's things. If he's not going to do it, she is.

WEEKLY: Then Cane and Lily show up. What do they want?

HENDRICKSON: Cane tells Chloe that because she's moved out without letting him know, he's suing for full custody of Delia. Cane believes he and Lily would take better care of the baby. Chloe thinks Cane's absolutely crazy. He's not Delia's father. There's no way he's taking her child. Billy finally makes a decision right then and there.

WEEKLY: Which is...?

HENDRICKSON: He says, "Chloe and i are getting married." Billy realizes if he doesn't make this marriage work, commit to it and give it a chance, he and Chloe could lose Delia.

WEEKLY: Is Chloe in shock over Billy's take-charge attitude?

HENDRICKSON: Yes! But she puts her game face on. If she lets Cane know it's an act, they're screwed. So Chloe keeps her composure.

WEEKLY: Is Chloe secretly thrilled she's finally landed Billy?

HENDRICKSON: Well, she knows he doesn't really want to marry her. Chloe is thankful Billy is stepping up to be a father, but she really wants him as a partner and a lover. Chloe's sad Billy is only marrying her for the baby. She would be on cloud nine if he was doing it for her and the love they share.

Back from Disney and finally all caught up on past episodes. I won't comment much on all the happenings of the past week but.................

agree with you, flipflop - I'm liking Colleen's character so much these days. It's amazing how a good storyline can change your opinion about a character!

As for Esther - she just needs to be shot and put out of her misery! That wedding the other day was beyond dumb and outrageous -- even for her!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm liking Chloe these days also. Would love to see her and Billy defeat Mr. Arrogant (Cane).
