Okay..forgive me because I'm a new viewer. I've started catching the show on Soap Net and got hooked. That being said, I'm confused. If the DNA test comes back that Jill and Katherine are NOT mother and daughter, won't they just assume that Katherine is a fake?...I mean..I'm reading all the discussion as to who Katherine's real daughter is, and I'm a bit confused. I've been trying to catch up a little bit on the history of the show. How is it that Jill isn't Katherines daughter..why is it that she wouldn't know who her own daughter is?...
I started out liking Victor..but now I can't stand him. Man this guy goes through wives..like water! lol
I especially like that the show seems to move pretty quickly...at least as compared to some long time soaps I've watched like GH. You can go a two weeks and check once to see what happened there.

Jill grew up Jill Foster-she was very poor and was Kay's manicurist. She had Phillip (who we are now supposed to believe is Cain-Phillip died many years ago) with Kay's husband. They have a sordid past, and always HATED each other! She was married to Kay's son Brock at one time (never consumated) and her son Billy was married to Brock's daughter for a few hours. One particular set of writers decided to rewrite history and make Jill Kay's daughter, who was given away at birth. (The same writers who decided Phillip and Cain were switched at birth and Jill's son didn't die). Jill found out Kay was her mother on Billy and Mac's wedding day, and interrupted them right before they consumated the marriage. That set of writers is long gone now, and it has been speculated that the new writers were planning to right a wrong and make it so Jill isn't really Kay's daughter. Mac is supposed to be on her way back, which could make things interesting if she isn't really Billy's 1st cousin.

My head is spinning with that information, but thank you! I will need to re-read it a few more times to let it sink in!
When the DNA test comes back, and it shows they are not related..won't it just seem as if Katherine is a fake?..How will it come to be that Jill is discovered not to be Katherine's daughter. Or..is that just speculation at this point?...

Sorry-been watching this show all my life!

A rumor was posted a few pages back (or maybe that was on the soapcentral board?) that Mac (Kay's granddaughter) will come back and provide a DNA match. I'm afraid it just means this storyline is going to be drawn out awhile longer.

I would love to see Mac and Billy together again...it was soooooo sad when they had to seperate....that was the same story line with Victoria and what's his name?

You mean Cole? There was a chance Cole was Victor's son. I can remember them in the rain (I think) and Cole screaming that Victor was his father too. That was sad. It turned out to be a mistake. He of course had slept with Nikki and later with Ashley-more of the sharing of men they all do .

auntie, if you think Victor is bad now, you should have seen him in the early years!

ohhhhh 36 isn't old - i'll be turning 41 in april (yup we'll be celebrating at WDW ) and we're still trying for our second child.

Good look with your souvenir! (That is one of my favorite disney commercials ). Most days I don't feel old. But I teach high school and they think I'm ancient to be pregnant-I'm sure the 16 yr old in 1st pd who is 2 wks behind me (she brought her sonogram pics to school last week) thinks I'm too old for babies!

I don't know how much I could watch if it was Gloria is Katherine's daughter because that would mean she is sticking around. I so want her to go. Her scheming is just boring. Constantly trying to come up with a plan and Kevin to help her.
