About tp book a trip for the family in April. It is me and DW an ds8 and ds5. We have not been to Disney.

I know I may have trouble getting all we want being inside 120 days. The whole idea of planing this trip is kind of overwhelming. I want to be sure we get at least one must have meal.

The boys already said that they are not interested in the princesses dinner...lol

Thanks to all in advance. This board is awesome!

Ooooh so hard to choose but I will give it a whirl!

1.Top breakfast: Kona Cafe and the must have macadamia pineapple pancakes! TDF!

2. some may disagree but we love the Coral Reef. Go there every time and haven't had a bad meal yet.

3. Chef Mickeys for dinner!

I have others but those are our MUST dos for every trip! Our kids are 3,7, and 9.

Have fun!

Our family of four would not miss:
1. 'Ohana: loads of fun for the kids, great food, terrific view of MK.
2. California Grill: yes, even with kids! The food is fabulous and you can watch the fireworks from the roof if you time it right. I've dined there with my own kids when they were as young as 7 and 10 and also with my niece and nephew who were toddlers. There are lots of other kids there, too.
3. Biergarten: It's really fun, the band is great and there are lots of choices.

Also recommend the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast at the Poly. Not girly at all and a fun character meal. Stitch IS a character. And Mickey is there, too!

Chef Mickey's breakfast is fun. Lots of character interaction and plenty of good hot food. I think a 5 yr old boy would have a great time here. Plus you could ride the monorail there always a big hit with the kids.

Biergarten. We love the german food here plus the show. Its a great atmosphere and my kids love it to.

Ohana was a really good meal and kids enjoyed it too. DD raced a coconut with a broom and some other crazy stuff.

1. Crystal Palace for breakfast lunch or dinner! Awesome food and character interaction there!
2. DH always chooses Chef Mickey's dinner. The characters are fun. The breakfast is good too.
3. My kids and I really love the Garden Grill in Epcot. Chip and Dale are there along with Mickey and Pluto. The food is brought to you family style and is really good. Also the restaurant revolves slowly around so your view changes while you eat. It's really great.

Great idea looking at the forums while you plan. Don't stress out, your family is going to have a wonderful time no matter which restaurants you choose! Good luck and have fun!

Ohana Ohana Ohana! Dinner reservations an hour and a half before Wishes and then head to the beach to watch the fireworks over the water.

Chefs De France.....even with the kids.

And I am anticipating 50's Prime Time, but I will let you know for sure in 2 weeks! :thumbsup2

I'll give you my kid's favorites since they are 6 & 8, so similar in age to your boys. DD6's 2 faves are Chef Mickey and Sci-Fi. DS8's faves are Teppan Edo, Sci-Fi and Coral Reef. There is nothing young kids love more than eating in those cars watching movie clips at Sci-Fi!

DH's faves are Teppan Edo and 'Ohana (meat on a stick - typical man! :sad2:).

My fave is Kona Cafe (my must-do every trip).

Our 3 would be 50's Primetime Cafe, Pecos Bill's and Biergarten. We've only been twice (3rd trip coming in Mar--) but we eat there each time. Enjoy your trip!!

I have 3 boys and have been going to Disney for a while. These are and have been must dos for us for some time. The reason I choose these is because they have great food and are enjoyed by the whole family.

1. Ohana for Dinner
2. Donald's Breakfast Safari at Tusker House in AK & Crystal Palace Breakfast. Both are really good and can get you into the parks early, so I pick both!:thumbsup2
3. Hoop-dee-doo. If you have never been, its a fun place for dinner and the food is enjoyed by all. It makes for a great night out and fantastic memories. Le Cellier would be my runner up for this spot because parents can get a great meal and the kids not only can have a decent steak, but they have some great desserts for the kids like the smores or chocolate moose!

O'Hana
Teppan Edo
Mama Melrose (not a favorite of everyone, but we love the food and the atmosphere)

1) Sci-Fi Lunch

2) Chef Mickey's Breakfast

3) Le Cellier (My kids love steak)

I'm glad I noticed that you have two DS before I posted. I travel with two wee princesses, so our favorite restaurants wouldn't interest your crew. However, non-princess favorites are:

Le Cellier
Sci-Fi (I think your sons would LOVE the atmosphere and we thought the food was good. You'll get mixed reviews on this one though.)
Ohana

1. Yak and Yeti
2. Teppan Edo
3. Coral Reef

Only three is hard, but besides these three, we do tend to rotate on trips. Also love 1900 park faire for breakfast, Mama Melrose, and the Cobb salad at Brown Derby.

1. O'hana
2. Le Cellier
3. Boma

We have to go for at least three days just for the three everytime. ;)

:thumbsup2

We did O'hana and then watched the fireworks from the beach the past two times and it was wonderful. Our DD is a little scared of the fireworks :scared1:,so this is a perfect spot for her to be comfortable and enjoy Wishes. It will be again in Sept.:banana:

Chef Mickeys- Love the character interaction
Kona- LOVE LOVE LOVE the breakfast
Le Cellier- Yummy food.

1. Bomas (food is fabulous, desserts are even better!!!! even the little ones liked it)
2. Ohana (breakfast is best)
3. Almost anyone of the countries in Epcot, we especially enjoyed Canada and Mexico, didn't care for Japan much

We also liked the Whispering Canyon Cafe the two times we visited it, it was great for the kids and the food was adequate for the adults too.
