They woke up at 7:45 , dd2 went straight for dh's computer, asked me to install toontown there for her , I did , she started playing. DD1 comes up 10 minutes later, they both started fighting, they both wanted to play , so I let DD1 get on MY computer, she's also playing toowntown there.
Now they are both playing the same game in different rooms and I can hear them going, where are you now? meet me at the park, oh, I see you...etc etc.
In the meantime, guess where I am? in THEIR computer!! Their computer doesn't have enough memory for toontown , so until the memory gets here , I'm kicked out of my computer or I have to hear the fighting.

The joys of parenthood!!!

Wow!!! Three computers??? I'm jealous!!!:)

Yes Cindala, and the fourth one is hopefully coming for Christmas! We don't care for gameboys, nintendos or any of that stuff, but don't touch the computer, LOL.!

I'm living your potential fighting there. Somehow, kid's computer crashed. The parent pc (with the internet access) is not recognizing the new hard drive and the modem, so my laptop (extremely slow) has been the way to the 'net right now.

I want to bring it into work to show my coworkers the latest pictures from WDW and a new store I went to, but then DH would be upset if he didn't get some computer time!

I'm sure you agree that the expense of a pc for each child is worth it for the peace and quiet you get DS4 is going to want one of his own instead of sharing with big brother. It's not so bad when DS7 is in school, but summer has been a challenge-especially since they want me to install everything on the laptop!!

We have 16!

No lie.. We've been doing the musical computer as well.

The main desktop has internet, but my sons computer in his room does not. The two working laptops have internet, but only adults are allowed to use the laptops.

So if DS wants the internet, it needs to be on main computer, but if DD wants to play a non internet game, she can go on DS's computer. If I need school stuff, my papers are stored on the main computer, but I can email them to myself and access them on the laptop.

If DD wants internet, she has to boot off DS and then he moves to his own game only computer. The only reason we don't have internet in his room, is that it can't be monitored all the time, and with his age.. I need to see what is happening.. (he's only 8!)

I LOVE Toontown!!!
During the trial I created a short fat brown dog that looked and moved much like our short fat brown family dog. :)

Are you running the trial or did you subscribe?
When I looked into subscribing I was discouraged to find that I'd have to get a subscription for each child so that they could play at the same time. Has that changed?

I don't know but they are both on a trial basis now, I had subscribed in the past but they were figthing and their computer wasn't capable of it , so I cancelled. I will not subscribe again though, they can play other stuff!
