You Said What to Alice and the White Rabbit?-the end, 1/10 pg 15

Tom and I swear up and down that Alice probably had the Photopass guy give her Jeremy's picture and put it up in the Cast Member area as the kid to avoid!!!

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Thanks! I am really a great swimmer now. Tom was a big help. Had anyone ever told you that if someone is bigger than you and you can't get them up easily to bring them up by their hair? Tom told me to do that this summer and it worked with him. I wondered if he was pulling my leg. He is a big joker you know! :rolleyes1 Just curious.

I meant to tell you what he said when we were in Charlotte but I knew it would embarrass him to death and then I forgot.

Way back when I was first trained ( in the stone age) we had a hair tow. We have ways of moving victims who are bigger that we are an now we use equipment which really makes it easy.

I cannot believe that pool story!!!!:eek: What a nightmare. Traffic control on the slide can contribute to many injuries especially if the parents are not watching. Yeesh!!!

Thanks for sharing your trip and I can't wait to hear about the next one. :goodvibes

I can't believe that you had no crowds on the 4th in the morning - tis a good thing to know!

You'll have to be sure and post the link when you start your next TR - can't wait to follow along - and maybe I can supply some pictures since we managed to meet twice :-)

Oh those parents at the pool! Two times, I can't even fathom. I freaked out at SAB when we couldn't find Eric and he was 9 at the time and knew where he could and couldn't go based on his swimming ability. Even though he was in a fine spot, that place was SO huge it was crazy easy to lose him. And honestly, he wasn't lost, we just couldn't spot him to save our soul.

At 3-4???? No life jacket???? In an adult pool??

:scared1:

I love the happy birthday USA pin, what a wonderful CM and how very very Disney and very very perfect. Great memory!

Can't believe I missed the comment Jeremy made to Alice and the white rabbit. I personally think its hysterical. :rotfl2: That's something you'll really be able to laugh about when he's much older. So funny how such an innocent comment can come out SO wrong. I bet Alice told other CM's that day, "I can't believe some little boy asked me if I wanted a 3 way". :rotfl2:

I think all your pictures of Jeremy are great. He looks like such a cute, sweet boy and he always seems to be having a fab time.

I really enjoyed your TR and I'm sorry to see it come to an end, but looking forward to hearing about the November trip.

Oh - and the pool - OY to the Vey! How can you NOT watch a child that age go down the slide???????? Not only for safety reasons, but that's just what parents do to see the huge excitement on their faces. And no life jacket? :sad2: I have to tell you when I took my 9 year old nephew to the world a few years ago I wouldn't even take him to a water park because I didn't feel like watching him like a hawk in the wave pool. I knew it would be so stressful for me to have my eye on him every second that I made up an excuse for not going. :rolleyes1

I guess we should be proud. If our kids are naive they have never been exposed to those things so we are doing a great job!!! :thumbsup2

Keep them kids as long as they can be. :thumbsup2 I have second graders who already know far too much about things they should have zero knowledge of, and it really makes me sad for them.

For lunch, we ate at the Plaza which was a first for us. I can't remember what each of us had but it was delicious. This was a new found gem for us. Not sure I would ever use a dining credit as it is reasonably priced but we will definitely go back. :thumbsup2

We had an ADR for here in December, but we ended up going to a different park, so we cancelled it. We'll put it back on the list and try again another time. We try to get a new restaurant every trip, and we like to repeat our favorites. There are too many places to choose from!

She was a wonderful CM. She really made Jeremy's day.

Tom and I both think Alice had the photopass guy keep his picture to warn the other characters!

New link is up!

I totally agree with you. We need to keep our kids young! It seems like so much any more society keeps pushing them to be older. Makes me very sad.

I'm so sad to see your TR end! But, I'm going over to checkout your new TR next!

Sounds like a good last day! Although, I can't believe that incident at the pool! Completely insane! Who the heck leaves a 3 or 4 year old to on their own while they have a drink?! I'll admit to being the most paranoid, over protective mother in the world! But, there is absolutely no excuse for that!!

Glad you had such a nice trip!! I'm sure you made some fabulous memories! Thanks for sharing them with us!
