if you dont know (which you probably dont), my best guy friend asked me out two weeks ago today. accually, it will be exactly two weeks in exactly two hours (ok i digressed). so i said yeah, and then we were dating. ok to the point...he was all sweet about valentines day, but he NEVER calls me when he says hes going to. is that bad?

I'm in a long distance relationship, so communication is a big part, without phonecalls, my relationship would die. But even with that, things do come up. Mike sometimes tells me that he's calling, then has to change his mind. It kills him with this happens, because he hates to disappoint me, but I understand that I'm not the only part of his life.

You need to talk to him. See what keeps coming up thats keeping him from calling. Until you know that, you can't really do anything.

I agree with Shelby. Things do come up, I know I do that too sometimes. Just ask. Be like, "You said you would call me on tuesay night why didn't you?"
and if he says something like "Well I had practice" or anything reasonable it's ok like Shelby said you aren't the only part of his life. But if he just keeps forgetting for no reason, then it might be a problem. Sometimes not calling can mean 'not thinking of you'. So just talk to him!

yea, im kind of in a long distance relationship. I go to a boarding school and he goes to a boarding school like 20 mins away from mine, and then when we aren't at school then it deffinately is long distance cuz he lives in Brooklyn NY and I live in Beaumont TX. and at school i dont have cell service so he can only call my on the pay phone but he recently lost his phone so we can only talk online. Well i hadn't had an actual conversation with him before today since wed. i was no happy. but he explained that he was busy with work and planning events and stuff at his school and i understood because my week wasn't very easy either. but we talked and hopefully he will finish his paper before i get kicked off the internet. but yea like everyone else said just be like hey, we haven't talked in like forever whats up? and if he says i forgot more than like twice then im gunna say you might wanna start calling him. because as shelby said communication is a big part of a relationship.
