We just got a heart-stopping call from a friend still in the military who has been working with the Reserve offices. If you or someone you know is in the IRR with a SWO designator, you could be in for an IA billet in Afghanistan. The said source has stated that they are in the early stages of putting in motion a plan to suck the IRR dry to fill the billets. Anyone else get those Mandatory Muster letters for June, July, or August of this year? Yeah, DH's was today. Guess why they're doing it...
Source is very reliable- is actually leaving to fill an IA billet in the next few weeks. It was him or three others- he chose to go because the others had families.
