My daughter is in first grade and they wrote a report on their favorite vacation this last week. Of course she wrote about Disney. I was really surprised about some of her comments. Her favorite “rides” were the “mathorn”, “fantasmack parade”, “hauntad manshion”, “invenshions”, and “pirats of carbean”. The ride that “earitates me was one that sings that same song over and over It a small world.”

I thought it was so funny! I had no idea that she liked Innoventions. She also put that she wants to go and see it first this summer. I also had no idea that she did not like It's a Small World. I did not think she enjoyed Fantasmic! At the time she seemed like she was not enjoying the show. I did know that she enjoyed the Matterhorn, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I guess you never know with children.

You sure don't know about kids. My youngest (10) has been on Indy so many times we've lost count. Then on our last trip she announces she doesn't like that ride because it was "scary". We all rolled our eyes and basically ignored her crazy comment and went on the ride anyway. It was way too late in her Disney attraction experience to start protesting now. Then, the very next day she said she wanted to go on Indy. We were all very confused and said to her, "Just yesterday you said you didn't like that ride." She responded, "Aw, ... I got over it"! :lmao:

Little kids are funny. We went on Space Mountain on Sunday and when we got off, DD4 complained it hurt her tummy, but when asked what she liked best about the day at DL, she answered, "Space Mountain".

The first grade report is toooooo cute!!!

I love how everything is spelled. My Niece is in first grade and my mom is always having me deciper her notes. My DS is 10 and still writes how it "sounds" so it is easy for me!! :teeth:

I love the cute spellings, too! My DS5 recently came home from kindergarten with a paper on which he'd written the following:
DMVMV PLUU
VOONAELX

He looked at me so expectantly, but I couldn't read it! So to get a few clues, I asked him about each letter. With his corrections, it read more like this:
D MUMU I LUV YOO ALEX

("D" = Dear, and "MUMU" = 'Mama'.) My baby wrote me a love note!
