We built our forever home in 2010. Whilst building we rented a home in which our eldest who was then 3yo locked me out of the house with her and the 1yo brother inside. It scared the bejeezus out of me, so much so that as our home was completed the front door was fitted with a keypad lock. That way we ensured that we could never be locked out again.
