You know you wanna say something...please!

Now that I'm so close to my trip, I'm into the part where I keep reading things on the DIS and second guessing each and every decision I've made!

So, I had originially planned at 8 p.m. ADR at Tutto the first night of our trip. Just to give you some reference: my DH and I are going by ourselves for an anniversary trip on the DxDp. Epcot (at least twenty-some years ago) was my favorite park, so we're going to start there when we arrive. Looking over my ADR plans, I realized that I had scheduled us so that we would never be free for Illuminations. That doesn't work me for me, for obvious reasons.

I also think that we'll be too tired to enjoy a sit-down meal at 8 the night we arrive...

I'm fairly certain I can snag an earlier ADR at Tutto...but does anyone have any other suggestions...something at Epcot that might be more casual (or more entertaining, either way)...what about counter service options?

I'd suggest trying to get in at Rose & Crown around the time of Illuminations. Some of the best viewing can be found in the outside dining area there. The seats aren't easy to come by, but you might get lucky, especially since it's just the two of you. It's a casual, fun pub environment, too.

Just a suggestion but I would just enjoy a relaxing walk around WS and go with the CS that sounds best at the time. If you are there early enough try and walk up to Tutto. Since it is just you and your DH I bet you will have fun just going with the moment

Depending on when your trip is, you might have good luck with walking up and getting seated, especially with an earlier reservation. My DH and I have done this a few times within the last few weeks and have been successful each time.

I'm seriously considering going with the flow. Also seriously considering changing to an early ADR at Biergarten or SAI, so as not to waste those precious dining credits! I wish they were a little more flexible with them. Oh well... Thanks for the input, guys...as always.

If they serve you as fast as they did DH and I you may make Illuminations.
We were done within an hour.On a serious note you can always see if you can get in 30 minutes earlier.
Depending on when you arrive you can go to one of the Boardwalk restaurants like ESPN or Brew Pub(forgot the exact name) for a smaller TS.Then you can walk over to Epcot for Illuminations
