Thats so funny you mentiond that. Just at work today a girl was saying "OH im going to Disneyland in May with my boyfriend, I havent been there in years". So I said oh well have you been to DCA yet?

She looked at me as if I was speaking a 2nd language

Well let's see if that new program can pronounce Puyallup, Sequim, Copalis, Mukilteo, Pe Ell & Skamokawa! I've lived in WA since I was 5 and whenever I travel people ask about my accent, so I think we are starting to invent an accent here.

...when you try to type an email to a "non" dis-er, and realize what would take up two lines in code takes up about 2 paragraphs - and you keep fighting yourself to not use abbreviations like HOJO, GCH, IASW and HM to name a few!!

I went on an 8-week student exchange program to Australia when I was 16, and the Australians were a tad disappointed in my 'accent', or lack thereof. I didn't sound Australian, but I think they'd been hoping for something a little more Jeff Foxworthy.

I spend way too much time on the Dis because:

When I'm at work, I wonder how this or that post is doing on the dis...

When I'm working at home, I have the dis up in the task bar to check in...

When I'm on the computer I'm listening to Disneyland/WDW music (I just recently discovered the thread with the downloadable music!).

When I think in terms of Dis acronyms when at DLR or WDW...I say to DH, lets go to DCA and ride TOT...he looks at me like I'm nuts (which I am!)
