Geez, so I decided to finally put some of my burnt CDs into a wallet & I'd actually label them. It turns out I've got 20 CDs full of mp3s (about 100-150 songs per CD) & that's not even counting the duplicates or mp3 CDs I've made as backups of the audio CDs I have in my collection.

To make matters much worse, I've got 9.3 Gigs worth of them on my hard drive. I might even be proud if it wasn't so sad!

I guess music is just slightly important to me or something. ;) :teeth:

From having read many of your previous posts, I can rest easy knowing you've got some Bad Religion in there. But please tell me there's a few Dropkick Murphys tunes bouncing around your hard drive...
I've got about 9GB of MP3s on my hard drive right now. I've got to clear it out soon. I usually burn it to a CD and start brand new again as well. I've only got about five MP3 CDs though. (About 8 hours each.) Looks like I've got some catching up to do! ;)

Well, I have no idea how much Gig I have(PC dummy) however, I do have toooooo many cd's to count and in the late 90's I really got into tape trading (YES I said tape) Bootleg Grateful Dead, Phish and Bruce Hornsby. The hours are tooo many to count, however most of my colection is A+ quality. I really got to meet alot of great people that way. So many people never knew the Dead had a taping section in every concert so that you could record the live show and share with others...pretty cool vibe it was I tell ya. But to answer your other question...Music is really a major part of my life and will always be. I named my daughter after a song..No regrets!!:D

Big D - I think it's time to clean off all that Bette Midler.

That OK!

Music makes the world go 'round (and the computer industry hum).

I need to get more into these things. I have lots of CD's that I only like 1 or 2 songs on. Need to condense my life a little.....

I have a fair amount of MP3's (probably 3 or so gigs worth, but that's just a guess), but my fiance's roommate at school has enough MP3's to play for 3 WEEKS without repeating (yes, that's 24 hours a day for 3 weeks)!!!

Yup. I've also got some Flogging Molly songs. My cousin recently visited & had some Social Distortion bootlegs, so I do to now

There's an easy way to find out. If you're using a Mac, select the folder & press Apple+I. If you're using a PC select the folder, right click & select properties.

LOL, I can honestly say that I don't have a single Bette Midler song.

Mix CDs are great & it saves switching from CD to CD trying to hear one or 2 songs.
