yesterday I heard a bus go off from a bus stop and it took me back to waiting in line at ASmu for Magic Kindgdom!!!! I got the Disney but BAD and can't wait till May 8th!

welcome to the boards pixie chick! you would be in so much trouble at my house. there is a bus station across the street from me. i know how you feel.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing this weekend, almost. I saw a Charlotte City bus and thought, they have the same type of buses that Disney has.

Or when everyday you are wearing a piece of clothing you bought at WDW-lol! That has happened to me every day this week and I certainly wasn't planning it.

BTW-welcome pixiechick77, nice to see a fellow Rochestarian here!

You know you have it bad when you sell your house, uproot your family and move 800 miles away from the only state you have ever lived in for theopportunity to work in the parks for the Mouse!

Oh the exact same thing happened to me! I heard a bus pull away from the sidewalk and instantly thought of the WDW buses.

My husband's car is fairly new. It smells so much like our rental from our last trip to WDW. I comment everytime I get in. My family just looks at me and shakes their head.

I'm often reminded of our early morning walks to the buses when I'm up for an early walk at home.....the morning sun is up, the walkways are damp with morning dew, the birds are chirping... I can just picture us all walking on a walkway at the CBR or Poynesian on the way to the buses or monorail.

No one needs to tell me I have it bad. I'm well aware! :)

A friend of mine also has it very, very bad! She has a Disney room in her house! Maps, pictures, posters, stuffed Disney characters, magnets, pins.....

A day hasn't gone by that I haven't thought about, read about, or talked about our upcoming trip to DH.

I keep telling him that we just need to move to Celebration and get it over with ( I even found a house that I want there and showed him!)

;)

Do I qualify if I constantly find myself humming disney tunes?

"I just can't wait to be king", "Walking right down the middle of main street USA" or "Bare Neccesities".

ONLY ONE ROOM????

We have a Disney House. I can't think of one room in it, except perhaps the laundry room, that isn't decorated with something Disney. DD's room is tropical with Little Mermaid and Lilo and Stitch, the master bedroom has framed pins sets and snowglobes, as does the extra bedroom, the playroom has a lifesize free standing figure of Sully, along with all kinds of Disney posters, toys and plush, the kitchen also has framed pin sets, and a Winnie the Pooh cookie jar, and a Tigger wall clock, the office is Mickey's domain, with Mickey icon desk set, Mickey picture frames, a framed Photomosaic of Mickey, and the family room is done with prints and pin sets of Classic Pooh purchased at Disney World. Oh, and the bathrooms all have touches of Disney, too. I have the 7 Dwarf Figurines in the 1/2 bath, and a Pooh clock in the upstairs bath. Oh, and I have a Disney car, as well. It is a Double Yellow VW Beetle with the license plate of Belle, yellow Mickey Ears hanging from the rear view mirror, a Lilo and Stitch lei around the rear view mirror and Belle and the Beast figurines bolted in the back dash!!!!

I LOVE DISNEY!!!! I yes... I DO have it BAD!

Eeyore0062- You made me laugh! :) You do have it bad. Now go out and buy something Disney for your laundry room! :)

The Disney room my friend has is only a Disney room. It is a shrine to all things Disney!

You know you have it bad when...

The first thing you put on your new car is your magnetic Disney bumper sticker!

You notice with overwhelming glee that the expiration date on your milk carton is the same day that you leave for WDW!!

You hear of a distant relative or a "friend-of-a-friend" moving to Florida and all you can think of is "Maybe now I can get a Florida resident rate"!

*giggle*

:smooth: IVY :smooth:

Everything I see and hear reminds me of Disney. I see Disney all over the place, not to mention that I abbreviate everything now. My DH was like why do you keep calling me DH????;)

What a great thread! My DH and I were loving the responses...O.k. you know you have it bad when your DS's(1) hair is basically down to his shoulders but can't cut it because it has to be done on your next trip to Disney World (first haircut ever!).

That every time someone near you (even if you aren't in the conversation) talks about their upcoming trip to WDW you MUST interrupt and give advice and re-live fond memories for the next hour.

That anytime the song Clementine is played you have to insert the word Frankenstein or turpentine (for your Hoop-de-doo fans out there).

That the everyday car you drive is a 2000 Beetle made up as Herbie the Love Bug with the racing stripes and 53's.

The Disney commercials make you tear up (o.k. that one was a little tough for me to admit)

I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK IN OCT!!!!!!!!!!!

:earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

mkutch-They make me cry to. Except I sit there telling my DH how much better they would be if I was in them!!:p :o :teeth:

You force your 3 year old nephew to watch your entire collection of Disney vacation planning videos (dating back to early 90's) because he is the only one you can relate to when you get into this state of mind.

You go out to dinner with your DH and all you talk about are the PS's you are planning to make for your next trip and what you are going to order.

You get up at 6:30 am on a Saturday and the first thing you do is log onto the DIS (check time of my post).

I can't think of anything else right now!

When you are sitting in physical therapy for your wrist that was shattered & surgically repaired in February, and you see banners out the window celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the hospital, and all you can think of is 100 years of magic . . .

When you are watching home-makeover shows on TV during your recovery, and instead of the patio they are re-doing, all you can see is the British-flag Mickey pin on the designer's beret . . .

When your husband comes home from the store and announces that Target has Disney collars for the dogs . . .

Soooo.... this morning, I woke my husband up and said, I've been brave through all this medical stuff, I deserve a reward, I don't care about the money, I need to see the Mouse again . . . and God love the man (he has it as bad as I do :D ) - he said YES!!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I liken my Disney addiction to a drug addiction. I started off just experimenting....Day visits to MK while visiting relatives in Orlando. Soon though, day visits just weren't enough to satisfy so I went on to resort stays. At first it was short stays at value resorts, then I quickly went on to long trips in deluxe resorts. Now, I'm on the hard stuff.....I bought into DVC! :o

I know I have it bad. I went and bought "Mickey Mouse" fish for my fish tank. Anyone ever seen them? They have Mickey heads on their tails. If I can get a picture, I will post it.
