Like Serena I could not read pass the first line either! That is so sick, that happened here a few years ago, they never got the person! I just don't understand. I can not say what I would do to a person that harms animals, I know what I would do, I just can not say it here on the boards!

MeanLaureen - At first I thought your tag was a bit severe..... but after reading the link, I fully understand the strong language.

I can't image the mental (in)capacity of someone wanted to harm anything or anyone.

I just read the first sentence. Someone did that to a doberman in Tampa a few months ago. The dog lived, but was blinded. I missed the first story, but when the dog died (a shadow of himself) several months later, it was a featured article in the paper.

Actually the pup was on the news last night. He's still scarred down his back but he is doing remarkably well. He's jet black with the big bug eyes and short snout of a boxer - adorable little guy - and was interacting with people like nothing ever happened to him. Man, if only people could possess 1/10th the forgiveness that some animals show.

There's no excuse for that. I wonder though, because of prior dogs being burned in a similiar manner, if it's not part of some sick ritual or deranged hazing.
