i'm glad you're going to be tagging your bags right through to ME this time. Hopefully it will keep you from feeling you need to do some acrobatic interpretive dancing in the airport and therefore you won't spend the trip with a bum knee and ankle.

i'm so so so excited that you're staying at AKL this trip. i know it's all vicarious excitement but i'm soooo happy for you. If weird/funky/fuzzy Disney math is what it takes to get you there, then so be it.

Yeah I thought about that perk, too. My luck I'll trip on someone else's luggage. Though I have read that if you have your ME voucher you don't even have to wait in line at the counter anymore.

I'm stupid excited!!! Doesn't seem quite real. With everything going on and holiday plans, it really is going by faster than any countdown to Disney I've ever had. Thank God for funky Disney math!!

Mr. I is in Denver for a business trip... however will I pass the time?







Things are quiet around here, for now. It's kinda nice. Jack-Jack is taking a nap and Dash is away for the weekend.

What better time to do the DIS?

I haven't gotten much crossed off my To List I have to admit. I'm in a planning rut. So close, yet so far away....

I hope to get a lot done the week after Thanksgiving, cus ya know next week is shot with the holiday. I think I have decided against Pirate League. Dash was a pirate for Halloween

and dresses up in his costume all the time. I think he'd rather spend the $50 on souvies, especially when you consider the only day we could do PL is MLK day itself and I'm concerned the park is gonna be so crowded we won't stay long.

But I'm getting ahead of myself talking about Day 7!!

Day 2 Itinerary​

Wednesday, January 13th:
Sleep til normal school/work time = 8am ish EST
Light Snack credit breakfast from Mara, possibly even picking up the night before and eating it in our room
Bus over to Epcot
Obtain FP to Soarin' first thing
Cover as much of FW as time allows
Head to WS for 1:30pm lunch ressie at Le Cellier We get to try Le Cellier FINALLY!
Finish FW rides, Soarin' again if FP/wait times allow
Back to resort midday for nap/rest/swim
DTD in the early evening
Dinner at WPE - I'm not a huge pizza fan but I the pepperoni
mushroom pizza from WPE
Goofy's Candy Company snacks to take back to resort
Ghiradelli Ice Cream for dessert
Back to AKL fairly early... around 10pm (9pm our body clock time)
Resort explore, take pictures, check out night vision animal viewing
Sleep!


Epcot goals:

Test Track (missed this one last time)

DTD goals:

Basin
World of Disney
Once Upon a Toy

Thoughts on the Day:
As you can see we aren't gonna push Epcot this day. I figure our long arrival day may be taking it's toll and we have 3 Epcot days planned this trip. So our main goal is to just soak it in, take lots of pictures and enjoy being there!

DTD however, we have a lot to cover. This is our only schedule DTD evening. We may end up back over here, we did last year on a whim. BUT I don't want to take a chance on maybe getting back over there.


This is one of my favorite days planned so far, just because Epcot and DTD are really two of my favorite things! I love MK and DHS but Epcot and DTD on the same day?! AWESOME! Le Cellier AND WPE on the same day?!!

What I do is get thumbnails of my pictures and put them in paint right next to each other and then save it as a document and then upload it to the Mickeypath ticker website. Sometimes you have to play with the size a bit to make them look right. If you can't figure it out, I can help you make one if you want.

What I do is get thumbnails of my pictures and put them in paint right next to each other and then save it as a document and then upload it to the Mickeypath ticker website. Sometimes you have to play with the size a bit to make them look right. If you can't figure it out, I can help you make one if you want.

Fabulous idea!! I'll have to work on that. The only thing is I hate to lose my 'progress' by starting over with a new ticker!!

I may holler at you if I can't get it to work!

"It won't be happening when we're there" "So pick a different time!" "When? I can't miss two weeks of college! We're not going over spring break and we won't have the money by January!" "Oh, yeah" Here's to hoping they extend the 4/3 deal...

Been there done that!! I know the frustration of all those great perks that are only available to people that can qualify for a cc! Hang in there!! One day, all that debt er I mean perks can be yours too !

We've stayed Value the last two trips and love Pop. No more time than we traditionally spend in the resort, the values are a great.... wait for it...
VALUE!

Hopefully they'll extend the 4/3 deal through the dates you guys want. Last year the 4/3 was good for value as well as mod or deluxe. The only reason it was such a great deal for this trip for us to upgrade was because of the 4/3 v. 5/2 deal difference.

for multiple Soarin' rides. The only thing that could make it better is for Mr. I and I to get to do it together. That's a goal of mine for Epcot Day 7, for MIL to watch the boys so Mr. I and I can ride Soarin' together for the first time!

I forgot to say that before I save the pictures in Paint, I make the paint work area smaller if that makes sense. So it's only as big as the pictures. I know I'm not explaining that right.

Thanks! Yeah, some moments were cringe worthy. I remember thinking during those moments, well it'll be something to add to the TR!

Thanks to Leslie.... I also asked if they had availability to check in a night early and fly out 6:30pm Monday instead of 10:30am Tuesday. They did have a room but it would have added an extra $284 dollars ! That's half the cost of DDP for the 3 of us that are old enough! I was tempted to add the day but just couldn't do it!

Am gonna play with flying in a day earlier and booking a room at Pop. and then moving over to AKL the next morning... Don't know if it's worth it or not. But am gonna play with it online anyway, for the heck of it.


BUT!! regardless of what we decide about the extra night or not, our 7 days at AKL are paid for!!!!!!!!!!

Pop's an extra 100$. So it's tempting but I think I've about talked myself out of it. We'd get into MCO at 11pm, by the time we got to Pop we'd be pooped! Then have to get up the next morning early, repack whatever we unpacked, get over to AKL, ck in .... cus there's no way I'd want to go to MK before getting AKL settled, I'm weird like that... hopefully get our room... we might get to MK by 1pm? As opposed to 4pm if we keep it the way it is now... with non-stop flights and plenty of sleep the night before...??


So yeah... I think I've ixnayed that idea!! But it was fun to think about and plan in my head while it lasted!!!
