Oh my word.

See, when a NYer tells people they are from NYC there is a whole lot of subtext that comes along with nod of acknowledgement that only someone from there could possibly understand, when you know you know.

For example, in the 80s when you'd stop at a light in your car and be swarmed by people in the street looking to clean your windows you gave them money to NOT spray your car, why you may wonder... the containers did NOT have windex.
