Woohoo!!!! I cant believe in a month I will be at the happiest place on earth with my family

My husband and I are actualy getting really sappy, we were both promised as children that we would be taken to Disneyland and were never so the fact that we are taking our children means a lot to us

Hey Jager Mom .... lucky you!! We aren't even certain if our trip is next October yet .... the anticipation is horrible & I have over a year!

I'm in AZ too!!! What area are you in? I grew up in North Glendale, reside in Scottsdale now.

Yeah, she's doing great with stuff now. We decided not to do the Fantasmic buffet and unstead go to Seaworld for a day, which she wants to pay for as well as the disneyland tickets she already bought.


SO I'm pretty excoted and relieved that everything is working out so well

Ok..lucky you again! Summer storms AND cool breezes!!!

I went to NAU for a semester ... then got homesick - we had a cabin in Oak Creek Canyon growing up, but we haven't been to Flag for a few years. Last time I was it had grown from my NAU stint ('97)!
We're considering moving to Prescott by the time my oldest starts HS - closer to the valley.

Hi! Our ticker is one month too and I cannot wait either!!! I am so glad that you are getting to take your kids, I have awesome magical memories with my children at DL that I will remember forever! We get there on the 23rd for 3.5 days.

I also have a 5 year old and will have an almost 1 year old on the trip, plus a 3 year old right in between! I'll be there with a friend that has (2) 4 year olds and a 2 year old, so we have all ages covered. These are the best ages to be there!! Where are you staying? We are at Desert Inn and Suites near the crosswalk.

Well I am already mentally packing and I just made my PS reservations, how about you? Talk to you soon~

Dont be surprised if you cry while approaching the gate. I had dreamed of taking my kids to Disneyland for years, and when I finally did, it was a very emotional day!
You will all have a fabulous time!

Oh I know I'm going to cry, i told my husband to be prepared for the waterworks, It means so much to me that I can do this for my kids

We are actually staying in Oceanside with my MIL at her Worldmark timeshare(FREE for us ) and driving up to DL on the Sun, Tues and Thurs, and driving down to Seaworld on the Wednesday the rest of the time were gonna hang out on the beach and relax by the pool

I have to still get the kids' vacation clothes off layaway and buy a few small things and a bigger memorycard for my camera...I have this funny feeling I will be taking a lot of pictures

Yay for everyone going to DL soon!!!!

Cool, well we'll be there Sunday and Tuesday while you are there! We'll also be there Monday, so Sunday we are heading to DL in the morning, then to the beach for a few hours and to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, and then back to DL for the evening.

I cry every single time I am there with my kids, and if you watch the Parade, I practically burst into tears while seeing there faces and they are playing the song from Brother Bear! It's an amazing moment! Have fun, I am so excited for you!

I'm sure I will be very emotional as well. I've dreamed of going to DL forever. We used to watch the World of Disney every Sunday evening on TV when I was a kid. So my first trip will also be my childrens' first trip! It will be so meaningful to me to see it through their eyes, to capture the magic of a child again. To see them hug a princess, hero-worship Buzz and Woody, catch a parade, view the castle, Talk with Crush! Can't wait!
