my father lives in NC and feeds my cricut addiction --- he called me at work to say "i am poking around michaels -- and they have your CIRCIT on sale --- i will pick you up one if you want" I said "do they have create a critter (since we dont have it here yet in CT" Yep --- they have it ---

then he is talking to some lady --- and you hear in the background "oh does she have this? or this?"

he was talking to a customer who was trying to help my dad pick out good ones something i totally would do.

so he picked up the critter one for me and the calendar one (since i help to do boards at work and they have some cute extras on there)

cant wait to get them -- he actually asked if i wanted him to mail them or bring them when he comes in June? HELLO --- GET YOUR BUTT TO THE POST OFFICE THIS WEEK!!!

he loves the hunt of finding a good deal and finding carts that we dont have here yet. He is the reason i have the gyspy too --- he got it for me for my birthday/christmas gift. it makes me giggle that he was talking with some crafting ladies and he probably called it a CIRCIT --- I dont have the heart to correct him -- i catch myself calling it that too sometimes now.

I drag my Dad to Michael's to use coupons with me all the time (he never complains, unlike DH!) but he remains blissfully clueless about the contents of the store. I told him today the story about your Dad and he just gave me a look like, "Yeah, don't be holding your breath for surprise gifts anytime soon!"

My dad live in SC and i am in CT --- we see eachother about 4 times a year but talk almost everyday on the phone --- I miss him something awful.....
But he sends lots of care packages and is always on the look out for good crafting deals --- in the last package he sent some cute $1.00 stamps from michaels that believe it or not i didnt have and were looking at it.
thanks for all the kind remarks about my dad ---- reminds me that he is a GREAT GUY!!!
