You Guys Part of the Family? You've Got the Magic In Your Eyes!!->Updated 10/19x3!!!!

I can't wait to see Storybook Circus all finished! The Dumbos look nice, and even if the play area is boring, I think it'll be nicer than waiting in the hot sun!

So glad your mom enjoyed her trip!

That is such a nice way to end the trip, to go up to the Main Street train station and just watch the people leave. I think I'll stick with my tradition, though, which is to watch Wishes from the Poly. :goodvibes

I love any park at night, it's my favorite part of the day to visit.

Of course walk through the castle! It's so purdy!

I do like the new play area for Dumbo. At least it's something to keep the kids busy. And me if they kids are playing. LOL

I love the nighttime shots you got of Dumbo!

Ugh, I can't stand people that are like the Real Housewives you encountered. Nothing will please them in the end, and I think that makes it worse.

MK at night is just so magical! It's like a completely different park.

I've never walked through the castle at night, I need to try that! For some reason I thought it was just open in the morning and then closed the rest of the day. I always make a point to walk through it on my way to Fantasyland at least once a trip.

Boo to those rude people complaining about the buses. I don't understand why people have to yell when they complain. I think if you have a ligitimate point, then be nice about it but still get your point across. Like the saying says, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

What a great CM you got at AOA that helped you switch rooms.

Oh my, Magic Kingdom at night is just a whole other level of pretty.

AHHH Small World, My Eyes!!!

Oh yeah, I totally love the view from the train station.

OK how did that not get censored? :lmao:
Real HW of New Jersey, OMG. :rotfl:
I just don't get some people but there are just those that are not happy unless they're making others unhappy.

Thomas sounded awesome though!

OK, now that both TR's are basically just you and Paige, I hope I don't get confused.

I know right, any park is just completely different! One of these days I'll get ot see AK at night!! Yes yes!! Best goodbye view ever!

Ahahah I have NO CLUE. But they were rude, CM, awesome, AoA had some amazing cm's throughout our trip! Baha, don't worry, look at the next comment:

I already am confused! I was all, didn't they already do that? So much Katt going on.

Ahahahah. Yeah, I'm going to take a short break on this TR for a bit to finish off February. There was just WAY less pictures in Feb so the TR's shorter, I can finish it off soon, and then come back to this one to confuse everyone less. Although there will probably be some spoilers in Feb ahah

It's awesome!! I just wish we could have played, I know Maddie will probably have a blast in there!!

It's great! It really obsorbs everything Disney and makes ya think haha. That's awesome! I have yet to watch Wishes from the Poly, hopefully at the next audition trip the timing will work out that I'll catch them!

Great pics! :)

Pretty!! And yes! Ah, everyone needs to walk through the castle.

Thanks!!
It was so not fun, they were so rude, but there's bound to be people like that everywhere..

Never walked through the castle?!?! Ahhh!! I usually walk through it in the morning as I'm headed to PPF for FP, but it certainly is amazing, and yeah, then it's closed once Dream Along starts, and it'll re open after the last show!!

I understand where they were coming from, having been stuck in the huge lines for Pop at the end of the MK night, and I even braced Paige that we could be waiting for a few hours, but we didn't end up waiting that long, Disney was prepared! These ladies were insane and just making the lobby one heck of an unhappy place, I'm sure Thomas was glad that we were on the other side of the situation! We were a bit worried that he would be as snarky as the CM had been that morning about the room change thanks to the Housewives, but thankfully he was fantastic!!

Wow I'm so far behind this is nuts.

Ah Celebrate a Dream!! My favorite parade. As I'm sure I've said before. But still, it makes me so happy. And I read somewhere that a new one is coming in 2014 and I'm pretty sad about it.

It's actually awesome that you have pictures from both sides of the street for the parade! I'm always sad that you inevitably miss the characters on one side.

Dressing up like a dancer would be a great costume idea!

I totally never realized Jasmine wasn't in the parade! But I am glad we get to see some different characters.

Aha we did the Enchanted Tiki Room in January to get out of the heat and had no real idea what to expect and DBF gave me that look of "But why" :lmao: I thought it was cute enough but it's definitely gonna be a few and far between attraction for us.

Love all the hat pictures!

aha glad Naveen was still awesome, even if it wasn't your Naveen! And the Jack Skellington pen is so cute!

Hm Tony's is so so pretty inside and I love the Lady and the Tramp stuff. But after all of the negative food reviews, I'm not sure if I'll ever try it! But you got to meet the awesome Shelley so that makes up for it!

Hahaha I've seen that Lion King meme with the Partners statue and I laugh every time! There's a NY/Brooklyn version too that makes me laugh but it's not as relevant!

I totally wish I could play in the Dumbo play area!

Ugh the people in front of you sounded totally obnoxious. But at least the CM was nice and helpful! Glad you were able to get the room situation sorted out!

Bahaha, don't worry, you have a real job! I just manage to get up early after working evenings to spend all morning on the dis ahahaha. I have no life.....

It's an awesome parade, but have you SEEN the info on the new one?! There's going to be a tangled float, and a peter pan ship/float and it LOOKS TOTALLY WICKED!!

Hahah yeah, there are those attractions that sometimes you'll describe it as "meh" to someone, or like Stitch, it's a straight up NO!

In terms of characters, Naveens always been my favorite Prince, aside from Eugene of course, he's just got that spunk and fun to him! I will admit he was kind of an **** in the movie, but I guess that was kinda the point!

I'd say try it if you like Lady and the Tramp, and you have some extra time, bahaha. Shelly definitely made up for it!

There's SO many of those memes but the WDW/universal one made me laugh the most!

That does sound like an awesome parade! I'm sure I'll like it when it gets here- I resist change though :rotfl2: Chris, on the other hand, is not convinced. So Disney better pull out all their stops to impress him :rotfl:

I definitely need to see the whole movie of the Princess and the Frog before September. I've seen like the first half but my DVD was defective and got stuck halfway through and I never returned it like a failure. So I need to fix that so I can meet Tiana and Naveen in September! :goodvibes

I'm excited! As much as I do love Celebrate it will be nice to see something new....and hopefully dance in it..lawl! Who knows?! I feel like it's going to be amazing...as long as it's better than the Jamin Jungle parade I won't be upset!

Yes yes yes you do!! Lottie is peeerrrfff, They NEED her out in the parks, but I doubt that'll ever happen. I'd like to see a character meal with the PatF crew! However, yes you definitely do, and even if you don't get around to it, definitely go see them anyways, they're a blast!

Ah the day I go to MK and see you dancing in a parade will be the most exciting day ever! It's only a matter of time!

Princess and the Frog is totally going on my Netflix list. Watching Disney movies I've never seen/re-watching ones I haven't seen in a while is my favorite way to pass the time to a trip! I have The Three Caballeros out now which I'm so excited to watch and Hercules is online for instant streaming so I have this weekend covered but the Princess and the Frog is gonna have to be next! :thumbsup2

That would be a cool character meal, especially at the POR or POFQ resorts!

It definitely is! Ugh, it needs to happen soon. I need an endless supply of money so I can keep doing ballroom while having cash to go to these auditions, or simply live in the states so flights are less!

Good!! Hahah, best way to catch up on Disney before a trip!! Three Caballeros! Ah! I'll need to look that up, although I doubt it's on our netflix...boo.

It'd be TOTALLY AWESOME! Like, it makes perfect sense. And they can't say its "because Tiana's green dress won't fit between tables" she has like, 10 other outfits she wears during the movie, give her ANY of those, baha

:rotfl2: Sign me up for the endless supply of money club!

Yeah I had to get the Three Caballeros on the DVD plan, not online streaming. I'm pretty excited that Hunchback of Notre Dame is online streaming now!

I mean, if Belle can wear her blue dress to CRT, they can get creative with her outfit! I bet it happens in some form eventually. It would drive more traffic over to the restaurants over there!

I have been a lurker (gasp!) for several years now on the boards. For some reason, I never spent much time on the trip report boards. I am now obssessed!! :rotfl2: And I have finally decided that I want to start posting on the boards and start writing a PTR for my October trip. I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your TR from the airport drama in the beginning to the very end!

Paige and I began our first official day alone in Disney early enough to head down to the food court at Art of Animation for some breakfast after getting ready. Since Mom checked out this morning, all the rest of her credits expired at midnight, so we of course used them!

1-3.jpg

Paige got the French Toast with fruit platter, and I got the AoA’s twist of the bounty platter, with naan bread, and different style of breakfast potatoes than normal

2-3.jpg

We both thought breakfast was good, but definitely could be better, and would end up choosing different things next time! It looks like we didn’t use our mugs this morning, but I may have had an energy drink to help get me up, I was definitely lagging in the energy department by this point in the trip, but that wasn’t stopping me! We were on the bus and on our way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios before we knew it!

3-3.jpg

There wasn’t much of a wait once we were at the park and we were in the turnstiles right away and headed toward that ever so hated hat (personally I have no problem with it, I just know a lot of people really don’t like it!)

4-3.jpg

5-3.jpg

We were of course, going to follow the crowd and veer off to the right hand side of the park, we only really had one thrill ride to accomplish in DHS, so it could wait a little bit!

6-3.jpg

7-3.jpg

8-3.jpg

I’m guessing we stopped for a fast pass grabbing on the way into the ride, as I know we got them, haha!

9-3.jpg

10-3.jpg

11-3.jpg

I would like an entirely Toy Story themed room in my house one day…yes please, that’d be great! We walked RIGHT ON to the ride, and when we got to the point of “get your 3D glasses” we were told to go straight through the little blue gate on the right hand side! Heck yes! We were onto the ride in under 5 minutes, being early, and a small party pays off!

122-3.jpg

Our scores turned out pretty well if I don’t say so myself! I also managed to get the highest in the vehicle! Yay!

123-3.jpg

It was turning out to be a great morning so far! Would our luck change when we picked a hotel to check into later? Let’s find out! Paige and I headed back to the end of Sunset Boulevard to check out this so called Hollywood Hotel, it seemed like a safe bet, right?

12-3.jpg

Come to think of it, we were getting kinda freaked out…

13-3.jpg

Along the way in, we noticed a very in character CM hanging out around the fast pass area, and as we started talking about him, he slowly and creepily made is way over to us and started chatting in a very ToT way, his name was Justin, and he was great. Paige made a point to grab a spooky picture with him before we made our way inside.

14-3.jpg

15-3.jpg

The ride was awesome, we walked straight on to the elevator (after a brief stop in the library room first of course) it really was nice to just be walking on to everything so far this morning. Hopefully our pixie dust would stick with us throughout our day!

In case I haven’t mentioned it, Paige and I actually share some favorite princesses/characters with each other, and one of those is definitely Ariel, I mean, what’s not amazing about a mermaid, am I right?! Naturally, we decided to head toward Voyage of the Little Mermaid next, but not without a quick stop along the way!

Yay magic shots!! They make me happy, especially with all the new borders that they have on the photopass site now! (Although I am sad that there were some characters without any signatures or borders or anything…)

16-3.jpg

We didn’t have to wait long to get into the show, and even though Paige had watched it on youtube and hadn’t been too impressed, we were still excited!

17-3.jpg

20-3.jpg

I wish my hair looked like this in real life…both in color and style! UGH! Seriously Disney, you gave us all unrealistic dreams for awesome hair! Haha!

26-3.jpg

Look at how tiny she is! (Also, weird fact, the girls who will be friends with Ariel in this show are required to be shorter for this show than in the parks…weird…) Also, can I just say, if they’re going to replace one of the stage shows in DHS, it should be this one, it cuts out so much of the movie, doesn’t really do anything for the crowd, and most people seem to prefer Beauty & the Beast. If they’re going to put in a Tangled musical, let it be in place of this one!

Since we were near Pixar Place already, we decided to use our fast passes, and again, got called over to the blue gate! We got into the ride in under 5 minutes, when the wait time was posted at 50 minutes! Good deal!

Paige and I continued in our little circle of the park and ended up over at the Muppet Vision 3D theatre! Yayayayayaya *Muppet dance*

27-3.jpg

28-3.jpg

See, even with no pictures during the film, you can still get some awesome pictures of the stuff going on before and after! Those old guys are the best! Yay! We both enjoyed the film, and honestly, I always will and always have, it’s Muppets, they’re adorable! Something that seriously blows my mind is how they do the effects near the end, when the theatre’s all “blown up” it looks amazing, who knows how they do it!

29-3.jpg

30-3.jpg

Paige and I just simply continued the circle motion that we were going in through DHS, and ended up back at the hat with some time to kill before our next mission!

For some reason my photopass pictures with that Hollywood Studios gate always look so frumpy, but yours look great! Especially the magic shots.

I love a lot of things Ariel, but that little show in DHS is seriously lacking. Probably my least favorite show of all WDW. I really will not be disappointed when they replace it, and I like you I'd prefer they keep Beauty & the Beast over it.

I love that bellhop CM from the Tower of Terror! I totally remember seeing him. He was so into the role and ambiance of the attraction. Absolutely flawless.
I love, love, LOVE your idea about if they want to replace a show at HS then keep Beauty and the Beast and change out Voyage of the Little Mermaid to Tangled. I'm a fan of that idea! :cool1:
