You get your passes at the resorts?

Please assure a first-timer that I don't need to do anything else before I leave.

Got my package through AAA, All-Star Music Resort, 5 day park passes for family of 4. At the very very end of the process -- after going through all the options, after ordering, after paying, after waiting a week for the materials to come into my AAA office, after looking through all the materials with the agent -- I asked, "uh, where are the actual park passes themselves?" "Oh, you pick those up at the resort desk, they don't want anyone to accidentally leave them at home."

Seems like SOMEONE from AAA would have told me this at some point along the way....so as a first-timer, I just want to be assured that this is true, and that our 4 passes will be waiting for us at ASMu.

If you bought your tickets as part of a package, they will be loaded onto your room key when you check in. Nothing to worry about!

Now see, AAA didn't even tell me that! (That my room key would be the same thing as the park pass). I would have gone to ASMu STILL looking for some kind of "park pass desk" or whatever completely separate from check-in....thanks for the info.

Your "key" not only serves as a room key and park pass, it also allows you to charge (meals, merchandise) to your account. You will be asked at check-in whose key/card should have charging privileges; usually it is just the adults in the party.

As an fyi...we never give the card to my grandson (8) to carry. Don't want the hassle of it being lost and having to be replaced.

When you check in at your resort, everything will be explained to you, so even though your AAA rep did not have the full explanation you would have been okay once you got to WDW.
