I'm just curious if any of you have tipped the person at the podium when checking in, to get a better seat? We've never been lucky enough to get a window seat during Wishes at Ohanas, and was wondering if a tip would be accepted/welcome.

TIA!

I am pretty sure Disney employees could get fired for doing so.While it is accepted practice in NYC or Las Vegas, you don't see too much of it at WDW

Excellent question and I've always wondered the same thing!

I always thought host/hostess' were not allowed to accept tips at Disney. My DH insists money always talks for a good table. We have a reservation at Tony's during SpectroMagic and I'm wondering if we should try but really don't want to offend any one!

I'll be anxious to hear what the experts here say!
