4 days! Jealous much!! Hope you have an amazing time, congrats on your graduation, couldn't think of a better place to spend it... I'm trying to convince mum and dad that I want to spend my 21st in WDW (a few years yet.. yer I'm young!) but I think I may have uni exams then

Disney for your birthday would be so much fun! My birthday's in the middle of July, and summer at Disney is just not for us, so... no go. My mom's birthday is December 30th, so that's out, too! Mike's is in September, so we'll go for his sometime.

When does Mike arrive? (How many more minutes???? Cause girl I know you have it counted down!)

What are you planning to wear to grad? I am on the lookout for a nice black dress-the shoes are already broken in!

Mike'll be here Friday night at 6. He changes planes in Newark, so he'll go through customs there. He's in a bit of a panic (he's kind of a worrier... kind of? who am I kidding...) that he'll miss his connection. He has to re-check in and change terminals and all that, but I told him to ask them for a ride in one of those little cart thingies.

He asked me just a minute ago, "Newark is one of the minor airports in New York, right?" I said, "Well, it's an international airport, and it's in New Jersey... so no." He said, "Well New something anyway! Close enough."

Anyway, wearing... I had trouble finding something, since it's obviously going to be hot here in early May. I couldn't find a dress I liked, so I finally found a black skirt and a nice top. I got my shoes a while ago, and I've doctored them up w/ all sorts of insoles and etc.

Aww, thanks for visiting and for the nice words! And, yeah, I'm so excited! I just finished packing except for a few last minute things, and I'm ready to go *today!!*

Ok, so, today... Finished packing, like I said. I have to book a room for my stepmother and my sister for tomorrow night, b/c they're coming for graduation. I have to book a room for Mike for the night after we get home from Disney - he doesn't fly out until the next day. I have to call Disney Florists and see about getting some flowers delivered for Mom for Mother's Day. I really hope she doesn't read this again before then...

I'm trying to decide between one of the arrangements on the site or asking for a custom one. I like one of the ones they have shown, but the pic is so small. It says it's "pixie-dusted," which I assume means glittery, but is it like, "WOW, a glitter bomb just exploded over flower town!" glittery or more like, "oh, how nice, a little sparkle" glittery? I would certainly prefer the latter. I'm going to call in a little bit and discuss it with them, but I can't order it until I get down there. The only credit card I have atm is my mom's, and that'd be great... "Meg, what's this charge to Disney Florist?" "Um." Yeah, not cool.

That's all for now! Hopefully I'll have time to update at least once more before I leave, but it'll be pretty busy tomorrow and Saturday. Tomorrow I have graduation rehearsal at 9:30, Baccalaureate at 3:30, reception for graduates at 5, and pick Mike up at 6. Then we're going to dinner with Mike, my mom, my stepmother and my sister. Saturday, of course, I have to be at school at 9, graduation at 10, hopefully lunch after, then I'm taking Mike shopping, b/c he's quite tall and apparently the selection of tall-sized clothes in Wales is pretty bad.

I'm sitting on my bed typing this at 5:23pm, instead of heading over to the airport to pick up Mike... why?? Well. Thanks (apparently) to the line of storms stretching from the northern tip of Michigan to New Orleans, Mike's plane is delayed in Newark until 9pm. That means he won't land here until 11:30!! That is assuming they don't outright cancel it, which would send me into a tailspin of horror the likes of which hasn't been seen since Faye Dunaway said "NO MORE WIRE HANGERS EVER!!" in Mommie Dearest.

Anyway. I'm trying to relax. I'm incredibly tired, thanks to a sinus headache and a cat (Pegleg Pookie the Pirate Adventurer) keeping me up most of the night. I skipped Baccawhatchacallit (too lazy to spell it), and now I'm just waiting on my crazy stepmother and sister to get here. They got a late start (of course), so they're about an hour out.

Ah well. The best laid plans of mice and graduates.

Now I can't make Mike eat Thai food!!

Your fingers are apparently magical. His flight time (as of now) has been changed to 7:10, so he'll get in at 9:20. Still later than his original 6pm, but I'll take it any day over 11:30!!!
