Another great speech, IMO. So great to see the faces of all the military there on the Abraham Lincoln, a proud moment indeed.
I saw it and Iwas very touched. It has been a very inspiring day. When I fine the info I'll post it about the father of a GA soldier that was killed. They are origionally from Columbia and the father (who is in his 40's) wants to now join the military to finish what his son could not.Originally posted by Kallison
It brought a tear to my eyes. Was it my imagination or did anyone else see the President tear up when they gave him that opening cheer?
Boy, do I feel relieved that I wasn't the only one thinking that too!Originally posted by Redmic
Plus, he looked like a hottie in that flight suit.

My brother who has recently returned home from an undisclosed combat location called me. He said that "tears welled up in my eyes. It was like he came to my base, shook my hand and said thank you to me". My DS who is 18 years old sat on the couch watching our wonderful President and said, "I just love that guy".
