Sorry about your not getting the job. I can imagine how frustrated you may feel. MY DS graduated 2 yrs ago with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and works retail because every interview he goes on they say he needs experience!

Also, I don't know if the position was a union one or not, but if the job had to be posted, chances are someone that already was in the district had first dibs on it. That is just the way it is. Trust me, I have been teaching for 29 years!

Hang in there, keep subbing and look into private and charter schools. Something will open up eventually!
